Happy Pizza Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Horse Hill

When I arrived I saw that there were two entrances to the parking lot. I was glad another reviewer noted that "all ways has parking spots". Feel confident you can drive in from any direction.

As I approached the door another patron opened it for me with a welcome, glad to see this since another reviewer noted regarding wheel chair accessibility "Just have to have someone open the door for you an your all good." The same reviewer also said "Waitress is high strong an very judge mental." I think she may have been wearing heels. I didn't notice one way or another. She did seem to be strong which is good since she has to carry beer and pizza all night. I guess the reviewer meant that she is possibly a very good judge of mental state. In my case it was good cause she could tell I was ready to leave without me saying anything. She probably needs to tell when other customers are too angry and should be cut off.

I was on the North side and saw Happy Pizza and decided I'd drop in for an early dinner. I had wanted to try their pizza but a 10 inch medium is their smallest size and I thought it might be too much for 1 person for 1 sitting. I decided to try a burger with poutine instead. I had wanted to go with their happy burger a more traditional cheese burger, however when the waitress came I accidently said the evergreen burger. The waitress was very nice and pleasant, your typical beautiful lady working in the service industry. The evergreen burger had BBQ sauce, mushrooms and bacon. It was really good, the bun nice and toasted, the bacon really good along with the mushrooms. The beef patty tasty. A very tasty burger. The poutine was good too, the fries nice gravy also good and plentiful, it did have shredded cheese instead of cheese curds, however still really good. Didn't wanna do this but it is too much to ignore. Donair is absolutely horrible! there is nothing but a sliver of meat in here, literally a sliver. This is not the way to save money. Just lost my business after all these years. Prices through the roof (understandable with inflation) quality down, not understandable. The Donair used to be so good, every time I ordered it it was good, tonight, I don't know who the heck is running the kitchen but this is a slap in the face to a customer. Fries were good though.
