If I could give a negative 5 stars, I would. I am appalled at the service we received today. There were some ordered items missing from our order which was a fairly easy fix, but the one burger we received appeared to be heated up as the cheese was grilled with the meat. It did not seem very fresh. The worst part, my brother ordered a meal, was given 4 completely wrong items, and when he went back to have it corrected they did not give him four items that were part of his meal. He then went back a second time and they tried to charge him for the two items he already paid for. The staff were rude and argumentative and made fun of my brother and his girlfriend right in front of them for asking for extra ketchup. I have no idea why it is so hard to correct a simple mistake. Oh, and when they FINALLY gave us what we actually ordered they forgot the gravy....terrible terrible...

I’ve been to this A&W several times, each time having a different feeling. The build recently got renovated and looks great. Service is alright and the place is pretty clean. The only down side is the quality of the food. Even the worst of my McDonald experience are much better in food.

The place has gone through dozens of mangers so it’s always changing. The drive is a mess... Awfully slow and screwed up orders is terrible when your in a hurry. The upside is the friendly and welcome staff.

Where do I start? The resident chef knows how cook a burger.

I walked in to be met by a tidal wave of pleasant aromas - bacon, cheese, crispy chicken, root beer. Struggling to stand up straight, the final blow was the warm smile of the waitress. Tears of joy began streaming down my cheeks. For the first time in years, I can honestly say I felt like I was home.

I could go on and on - about the teen burger, the buddy burger, the chicken buddy burger - but instead I will leave you with this thought. Stop going to church, to the mosque, to the synagogue. If you want to get to heaven, just step through the doors of A&W burger Fernie.
