Service was fast, my waitress was attentive. Closing time was 7:30 not sure why! A gentleman was refused because it was 7:15, which may happen anyway, but many people would find 7:30 too early. The "Cove Salad" was awesome. Romain, red onions, sliced almonds, mandarins, chicken, topped with a sesame seed dressing. The establishment was clean (dining area, visible part of the kitchen, bathroom), easy wheel chair access.) I thought the cafe lacked a theme. Desert was a lemon marange pie, hard choice to make with so many to choose from. The pies are in a display case that you get to look at while you eat.

Food is amazing allways but tell me why in this now rather large town of alcona there beside what was once a bustling retirement comunity sits a place i xan get a burger at 10 am on a thursday but heaven forbid i want bacon and eggs i have to uber to the other side of alcona or eat the trash from fork and plate. A friendly and homey cafe for brekky was just what we were looking for. Kudos to Tracy for being one heckuva waitress who made us feel welcome. The pancake empanada was impressive and delicious, and she loved the eggs Benny. We can’t wait to go back sometime soon!

Sort of mixed reviews here. It wasn't bad, but it also isn't great. We've been here a number of times. It can get quite loud as there isn't anything deadening the sound. The food is good, provided you get what you order as there are often errors and omissions. Pricing of the food seems high for what you get. I find they're often understaffed during busy times and holidays. It's convenient as it's located next to Sandy Cove. The menu is pretty typical of a Canadian restaurant. The servers seem pretty rushed and not completely familiar with the menu. The management will make things right if you complain, so when things don't go right (and there's a good chance of that), make sure your...

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience due to the server(Lisa) we watched and heard her complain about everything including us! We asked her for a refill of coffee and she flat out refused because she was not our server. We watched her openly complain to the owner about us. How unprofessional! This wasn't our first negative experience with Lisa. Unfortunately it will be our last. Everyone in my party of 8 was so upset that we wont be back. I will end this on a positive note. Our server Alyssa was lovely. She was so very busy but was doing her best to attend to all of her customer's needs. You do an...
