We were around the area and wanted to grab a lunch. Decided to give this place a try based on decent google reviews. The place was very small as we first walked in and was unsure how good the food would be. It turned out amazing! 👏👍. The owner was very courteous and we ordered the fish and chips with fresh homemade fries. Wow - the fries was so fresh and halibut fish was delicious as the batter was light, thin not oily. All the friends I want with a blown away and with great service and food. Would definitely come back if given the chance too. We are from Ontario and wish they had fish and chips made like this.

It’s not dirty, it’s just a local restaurant that’s bringing you back to reality after those overpriced tourist traps restaurant thingys. The other five star reviews hit the nail on the head already but it would be a crime if I didn’t add to them. Great home cooked food, nice sense of community and got to hear some great stories from the old people inside. Fish and chips is on top. Value here is mind blowing.

Great food, poor service felt like I was an annoyance I was on a day trip on bicycle was super thirsty and had to ask several times for water.
