We’re traveling across Canada and made a stop here on our way to Montreal — and what a fantastic find!

The outdoor setup is super charming: cozy fire pit, bean bag toss, and even dockside seating where we enjoyed our meal with a view. The vibe is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for road trippers or locals alike.

We kicked things off with the jalapeño cream cheese bacon wraps, and wow — mind blown. Creamy, smoky, spicy — a total must-have! We shared the platter, which came with four types of meat, coleslaw, and beans — all perfectly cooked and packed with flavour.

The staff were incredibly friendly. They welcomed us with big smiles, took the time to walk us through the menu, and even let us try a sample before ordering — such a thoughtful touch.

After our meal, we played a friendly round of bean bag toss (my boyfriend may have crushed me, but it was all in good fun 😄). We topped it off with some ice cream for dessert. The cobbler wasn’t quite ready and the espresso machine was having an off day, so we opted to make coffee back in our RV — no biggie.

We absolutely loved this stop and would 100% come back if we’re in the area again. Highly recommend for anyone craving good BBQ, friendly faces, and a...

As an Austinite making my way from Sudbury to Sault, this was a bit of a surprise to see a TX BBQ place on the way, so I had to stop in. The atmosphere was a proper TX BBQ joint, nothing fancy, just the smell of bbq! We bought the brisket, ribs, and slaw.

The brisket was properly cooked with a well seasoned bark. It lacked the smokey flavor that you would get from south of the boarder, but still very well done.

The rib itself was properly cooked, but I didn't care much for the sauce on the ribs, it was dried out. Might have been from the end of the day, and I think a St.Louis would have kept better. .

Slaw was good, but could have been just a touch creamier.

BBQ sauce reminds me of Rudy's, so it's solid. As a fellow Texan, this is a solid place to stop and grab some proper BBQ, and definitely MILES better than places like Montana's that states "tx" bbq.

BIG plus for the Topo Chico lime BTW !

Only way you're going to get better in the area is to fly to TX and bring back brisket from Terry Blacks, My SO and I will be making another trip out once it's warmer to enjoy good...

My honest opinion. I truly believe they have a lot of potential and could be a gold mine if they make some adjustments.

We had two pulled pork sandwiches, one potato salad and one Mac and Cheese. The pork was good but I didn’t care for their sauce. Maybe different sauces could be an option in the future.

Potato salad and Mac & Cheese were horrible. If you do go, maybe the coleslaw will be your best option. It did look good.

I loved the Atmosphere, know you are not able to eat in. A great location on nice days and take out. Restrooms were very clean.

I found it expensive. The portions and quality of the sides did not meet the price.

I was hesitant to write this review because I’m partial to North Carolina BBQ. However, I’m a foodie and know good food.

I will give them another chance though, would love to try their ribs and coleslaw. I’m not much for brisket, but would try that as well.

I truly hope the owners do well and make a few tweaks. This isn’t Texas. All this area wants is good food, good service and a full belly. Word of mouth spreads quickly...

"Are yous having a party?... Nope, all for me and my girlfriend 😂🤣" **(After proceeding to order the #15 - Texas Feast)** After months of hearing about how amazing the food was, finally decided to drive out and try for ourselves and we were not disappointed at all!! The Ribs, SO SO GOOD, right out of the smoker, and every bite was to die for!! The Brisket, so juicy and tender, broke apart so easily! And finally the pulled pork, just as good as the first two! And the homemade sauce to tie all together, just absolutely incredible! 5 stars is not enough, this food broke the ratings system!! Also, the staff could not have been more welcoming! Such incredible service, Roy came to check on us and ask how we were enjoying the food (I think to see more than anything if we were still breathing after so much food 😅😂). And the seating outside with the music playing and sunshine, it was a picture perfect day for Texas BBQ!! Will definitely be returning soon to try even more, the chicken most of all next time around!!

Traveling all over the country for work has given me plenty of opportunities to try "Great BBQ," but I've often been left disappointed. After a particularly bad experience at another establishment, I was skeptical about trying Canadian BBQ again. However, Texas BBQ of Canada completely changed my perspective and has landed in my top three best BBQ joints of all time. The brisket had the perfect lean-to-fat ratio, with a bark that was nothing short of perfection. The St. Louis ribs were smoked perfectly—not the fall-off-the-bone style of chain restaurants as most are oven baked, but tender and flavorful with a dry rub. While the mac & cheese was rich and creamy. The only knock would be the brisket beans, which were a bit heavy-handed on the seasoning. Can say I'll be making the over hour drive to eat here again. You have to make the trip!

Such a special place! I was driving through from Texas to visit friends in Ontario en route to Montreal and saw this adorable spot on the water. I was desperate for a cup of coffee and something quality to eat after too much road food. Little did I know the owner is Canadian with over a century of family roots here-but learned to smoke meat in Texas! Everything was great but the brisket is outstanding. The staff was warm and welcoming, made me an excellent latte and I decided to order a few things with my family. We had all the meats and sides- pulled pork, smoked chicken, Cole slaw, beans, potato salad with PEI potato’s, Mac and cheese…..The smoked potato loaded with everything you could ever want… My only regret is not staying in the area longer to come back for more! Perhaps another year….. by boat?
