SPOTLESS!!! ... This restaurant is probably the cleanest restaurant my husband and I have ever seen! And for that we give them 5 stars.
We both ordered burgers and a large poutine to split a coffee and a pop. We were shocked to receive our burgers cold which was a big disappointment because the actual burger meat we could tell tasted good but the burger was hard to enjoy because it wasn't even warm which was weird, as a side note the pickles are sweet which we weren't used to, they charged .59cents extra for pickles but yet we had the tomatoes and hot peppers taken off so you would think it would balance out?
The fries were excellent , thick cut, real fresh fries and huge compared to other places, the shredded mozza on the poutine was good but lacking, the gravy was excellent .. The poutine was hot , a few minutes later the waitress brought an extra bowl of fries for us which was nice!
We would have rather had our burgers first nice and hot, then cold ... and would have waited for the poutine, if that was the reason for cold burgers. Also the burgers were slightly small, not enough bacon or cheese on them but the lettuce was great , green and fluffy.
Our bill came to 30$ plus tip which isn't too bad if you had a nice HOT, bigger , burger.
They have a really cool authentic wood fired pizza oven , which the waitress and probly owner let us go around the counter to look at it, she was very nice and welcoming and didn't look at the receipt to see how much we tipped which was nice and polite!
We will definitely go back and try the pizza, and probly the fish and pasta too, they stand by fresh ingredients, and even though our burgers were cold we will go back just because it was perfectly clean and we were left with a good impression!
Usually when we get horrible food and service and pay an arm and a leg we are left in a bad mood...but not this time so we will go back...
Read moreThis is my first review ever… because I was flabbergasted by the price! Two chicken parms and one large caesar salad, after tax, cost me $80.04. We thought surely there was a mistake, so we called to ask for the correct pricing. On the website menu the parm is listed at $16.99 in one place and $18.99 in another. The salad is listed at $9.99. The parm includes spaghettini or choice of potato or rice. The gentleman who answered the phone informed us, through his annoyed mumbles, that the parm is $22.99 PLUS the cost of pasta and the salad is $15.99. We had to ask him to repeat a few times and he did not offer the pasta price. This was our first time ordering since new management took over. I would never normally write a review or gripe about the cost of take out. My second job is as a server in a local restaurant and I understand the costs involved etc etc. But!!!… the chicken was thin and the pasta was dry and flavourless. We enjoyed the caesar salad but had to add caesar dressing from our fridge. After paying for the meal I said under my breath… Well this better be the best parm we’ve ever had… and unfortunately it was far from it. I checked the pricing for other local restaurants for the same order and the price difference is between $20-30. On a positive note, the service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere warm and inviting for the few mins...
Read moreThe pizzas need some serious TLC, I'm not sure if we just caught them on an off night because i have heard good things about their pizza, but our experience was very disappointing. Our pizza came to the table and it was only room temperature, keep in mind that it didn't sit around it came straight to our table from what should have been around a 700 degree oven, and the dough was raw like raw raw, my wife pulled a chunk of raw dough from one of her bites and it swear I could have stretched another pizza right there at the table! we had to take it home and finish cooking it in the air fryer, like i said maybe it was just a bad day, but that being said I also wasn't a fan of the taste of the sauce or the pepperoni. My kids wouldn't even eat it. We ordered 5 of their 10 inch pizzas and had a couple of drinks while we waited and our bill was $130. but definitely check it out and form your...
