UPDATE: I've changed my review to 4 stars as the owners followed up immediately, have heard my feedback, have been professional, courteous, and kind, and have done what they can to make this a much better experience. I've upped the stars in Service for this reason as well, thank you. Next time we're passing through the area, we will give Brisket Daddy another go. You do good business as owners, good job on you.

Previous review: No. We had driven especially to this place to try the food, but we'll never come back. We got the pork belly, and a couple of the corn biscuits, and they were pretty good, especially love the sauce, I'd be curious about the actual brisket, but goodness gracious me, the owner really needs to look into the young ladies running the place. Customer service and vibe is -10. There were three of them, looked like teens into twenties. We were friendly walking in, said hello to them. Nothing. Blank stare. Not a smile, not a hello, not a greeting. As we looked at the board to see what we'd like to order, we felt how the place was tense, and we noticed that one of the girls was training another, and the one being trained looked stressed out, there was another girl and she looked unhappy... they both looked like they were scared to upset the trainer, who was the unfriendliest of them all. Received our food, we thanked them... nothing. We said goodbye... nothing. So yeah, unfortunately we won't be back to try the brisket, or anything. It was very strange, awkward, and very VERY unfriendly. Seriously fail on the vibe.

Addition: hmmm.. I just read some of the reviews stating that the staff was friendly. I don't know what happened the day we were there (Sun July 28) but they weren't friendly at all towards us. August 24th, 2024 my Husband and I had the wonderful pleasure of experiencing Brisket Daddy's BBQ food at our farm wedding! The food was absolutely delicious!! They offered a large variety of meats (pulled pork, smoked brisket, ribs, chicken) and sides (mac and cheese, beans and burnt ends, potato salad, garden salad). They were even able to provide us with a vegetarian option for the guests who requested it. The staff was super friendly and very kind. We had a guest, who unknown to us, wasn't a huge fan of buffets due to a fear of germs. Our guest was super apologetic and didn't want to cause any problems, but the staff jumped right in and helped us solve the situation. They had our guest come up before serving dinner and pick out everything they wanted and even brought the plate right to their table. We are extremely grateful to the staff for taking care of that for us and for helping our guest enjoy the experience just like everyone else! :) From the moment we contacted them to the day of the wedding Eric and Kassidy were super friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions in a timely manner and were very flexible in arranging things to work within our schedule. This place is the best for absolute traditional BBQ. It's not meant to be fancy. You don't need fancy digs to have great food. Eric and his team make everything fresh, just watch their Instagram and Facebook video clips. I've been on-site and witnessed menu items being made fresh. I can tell by some reviews that some people have been deceived by other places that coat all of their meat in sauce to hide poor cooking, or employ a microwave for the main cooking (or both). If you've been to a quality butcher in 2025, you will see that good meat is expensive. The fair prices reflect that and are in line with other premium BBQ places in southern Ontario.

One item that is occasionally on the menu as a special is his BBQ chicken. Sooooo tasty! Grab it if it's available on the day you visit. 👌
