Folks this place is an absolute gem of a diamond 💎 .. Quaint log building.. absolutely awesomely friendly down to earth generous owner run business.. fresh large portions For the longest of times up to about 9 yrs ago I'd stop almost every time heading up that way to grab more than what i needed food wise because I'd be enjoying their food so much that wow a huge family container of pork beans would just disappear all to myself .. and I'd eat them all weekend long for breakfast and at dinner .. they are just that good .. but do to the severity of my food allergies i know just can't chance these purchases there anymore .. not that i ever had any issues .. it's actually do to Canadian food manufacturing standards .. for example salt and pepper and all other ingredients that they use might have traces of my allergens or be processed in facilities where my allergens might of been processed aswell and canadian labeling of bulk food ingredients is absolutely absymal and so i literally have to avoid all restaurants and this is absolutely horrible for me because i absolutely loved their foods and mis it so So SO Much.. all of you guys are so lucky .. why not stop in try their premade ready for take out pork beans or their freshly made beans .. or fresh burgers etc .. etc .. or just to say hello to encourage a wonderful generous soul...

Update: As is happening with so many of these small town wonders. The current economic situation has driven them to no longer provide a good product. The last time we were in there was no fresh bread and the beans were in a pot between a lady's legs where she was picking and swatting flies out of it.

The inside has just gotten more and more dilapidated, and the absolute disregard for sanitary conditions is just too much to put up with.

Dirty counters dirty floors. Dirty hands in product that's being sold to the public.

Unless you have the urge for some kind of pathogen, or just enjoy eating as a game of chance... Stay away.

Literally the best beans I have ever tasted, on the side of a small highway. Such a surreal and amazing experience.

They have homemade bread so soft you can barely butter it to accompany the simple greatness of the pork and beans. And the pickles are...

Place is filthy. Came in yesterday to see girl at cash with her purse slung over her shoulder while dealing with three customers. Looked sketchy. Customer ahead of me asked for a pop, purse wearing cashier told him to go behind counter and grab from fridge. Another staff member was sitting in front of fridge scooping beans into containers and didnt even try to assist customer. Instead the poor guy had to reach over the staff member awkwardly. Went to make purchase and they said they could only do e transfer. From the filth of the place and the weird shady looking cashier or owner I decided to leave. Definitely wont give them another chance even if the beans are apparently really good. Owner is likely skimming off the top and doing...

I loooooooove La Binerie. It's been around for a couple of decades or so. The owners have a Haitian background (I believe) so they speak French fluently, with some basic English understood. They bake the beans in the ground out back and the beans have a lard/pork base which make them absolutely delicious. Vegan options are also available. You can eat indoors but also outside as they have picnic tables and a covered area with patio furniture. They also sell local baked goods produced elsewhere. This place is a gem. Stop by if you're in the area and pick some some beans to go. You won't regret it!

Was so glad to have read other recommendation reviews as I just visited this little gem and love their beans!! While the gas range wasn't functional at the time of my visit (I'm sure it won't be long before it's fixed!!), we weren't able to have hamburgers. We got hotdogs instead and as an apology for the non functioning stove, we were given a plate of beans to enjoy. Everything was yummy!! I bought a container of beans to bring back to Ontario!! Very nice people who managed us well in English.... Thank you!!

Went there Christmas day to get beans for the first time. We got some for the road which were okay, and some for the next few days. Went to eat them today (the 28th) and they are moldy 🥲 disappointed, probaby wont be back. No dates on the packaging to tell how old anything is. Wanted to love them but left us disappointed.
