Clean, comfortable accommodation with a wonderful breakfast just on the Eastern edge of the busy central part of Kelowna. The property has a solid structural feel, quality furnishings throughout, internet, TV with high end bedding with a great view from your private deck and you can easily unwind and rest up for your visit to this part of British Columbia. We found the room much larger than normal these days.||We normally stay down along the busy Highway 97 corridor and walk to our favourite watering holes but the sirens and traffic noise are just too much for us in the Summer season.||Bev and her family have created a restful B & B with everything you need. This is a dedicated family operation.||The small cafe prepares meals with no oils and quality seasoning only. If you have booked the B & B option then ask for the B & B menu in the morning otherwise enjoy the many selections on the regular menu. This includes lunch and early dinner so you can stay on the property. They will deliver to your room upon request.||Take some time to chat with the family members if you can - this is a proud, hard working group who have created a special place for visitors.||The photos are accurate - you have the room for the day - it's your space so come and go as you please. Lots to see - winery's, shopping and many of...
Read moreStayed in the B&B on night 3 of our 6 day/5 night vacation, and I'm not sure any of our other stops are going to be able to match this one. The Peach Room (all the rooms are named for fruits) is beautiful, with high ceilings, lots of floor space, and lovely accents. The beds are very comfortable, and as someone who is warm almost constantly the in room air conditioning was a godsend. The view from the private balcony is wonderful, with the valley spread out below and the mountains in the not-so distance. I'm writing this review before we head downstairs for the included breakfast, but I have high hopes after reading the reviews from others, and look forward to picking up some souvenirs before we head on with our trip. Before this trip I'd never stayed in a B&B before, just hotels or motels, and I've read so many B&B horror stories that people post online, but I'll say this: If I ever have the chance to come this way again, I will not hesitate to stay here again. Absolutely worth every penny, and every kilometer of driving from the Calgary area, and this will be a place my family remembers for...
Read moreFound this place nearby where I was staying so my boyfriend and I went for breakfast. I had looked up some reviews online and some older pictures had eggs Benedict that looked quite good. We found the place relatively easily but it's not an ideal spot to turn into. Highway 33 is a little sketchy and some of the vehicles heading north go faster than they should. Anyways we went to the cafe and passed by the indoor market. It's not open for the season yet so that was too bad. The cafe itself is relatively small. It's definitely not a restaurant. The breakfast board was okay. They don't have eggs Benedict anymore so I was disappointed. I settled on the usual breakfast fare: eggs, ham, toast and hashbrowns. They serve cherryhill coffee here which is one I like. The food itself was fine. Nothing amazing nothing terrible. Except the hashbrowns. They were so bland and possibly undercooked. Don't think I would go back here as a first choice...
