City Pizza — Restaurant in Kitchener

Horrible service! I walked in and there was only one employee working who was training and didn't even know how to make a pizza. He told me to wait 5-10 minutes until the "cook" arrived so it could be made. When I paid I'm almost positive I got overcharged cause the employee couldn't do math. I was in no mood to argue cause I just got off work and wanted some food so I paid whatever he thought it was. Already being frustrated and waiting for the "cook" to return, when he finally showed up he walk straight into the store from god knows where and starting making the orders WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS. I was appalled and the customer standing beside me noticed as well. I looked over to him and asked if he saw that and he said yes so I decided to confront the employee. When I told him "DID YOU WASH YOUR HANDS?" his response to me was "THIS ISN'T YOUR PIZZA"....as soon as he said that I got angry and told him that I don't care its someones pizza so wash your hands now. He ended up doing it (half assed at that) and gave me a dirty look like it was my fault he's incompetent. The pizza he was making that "was not mine" like he said was for the 99 cent slices deal... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE! I feel bad for all the students that go there during their break to buy food cause they are getting contaminated food from an unprofessional jackass. At the end of the day this falls all on the owner for not enforcing a standard policy - and for hiring such incompetent people. I guess you get what you paid for with this place. Ordered 2 pizzas with plant based cheese and only one had it. Called the store and they said they'd write me down for a free one. So I called the next day, and the amount of confusion that call left me with was ridiculous. Asked them to repeat my order back to me, they didn't. They said they'd call me about it, never did. Went in an hour later to see if it was ready..the guy had no idea who I was. I wrote down my order again for him and then he tells me they're out of plant based cheese. Now I'm wondering if they tried lying about it the night before and see if they could get away with it instead of calling me and telling me they had enough for only 1 pizza. He ended up just giving me a refund. Great. I guess. The storefront was dirty.. food all over the garbage bins and they were full. Hadn't been swept at all.

On the pizza side of things, I was highly unimpressed in the quality of dough, just tasted so bland and was really stretchy.

I ordered pizzas for an event that I was hosting. I ordered it 1.5 hours in advance. After waiting an hour for them I called to ask where they were and they lied and said they didnt have an order for that address and that it may be a different location. I told them that I had the right location as I checked my caller ID and the number was the same. They kept saying they dont have an order under my name. Then they just showed up 10minutes later at my door with the order that apparently they never had on file without me telling them what pizza I had ordered when I called to complain. I went elsewhere to buy the pizza. They lie to their customers instead of accepting responsibility for their mistakes. I will never order from this...
