Tidy chain restaurant specializing in Italian-Canadian cuisine service was fast and friendly (and accommodating, because my French skills are disappointing at best); prices were reasonable and portions were generous but not overwhelming (Full-size was plenty for me, and I'm a larger fellow; lunch size was great for my traveling companion who was hungry but not starving.)
Washrooms were clean, espresso beverages were acceptable (clearly made by a one-touch machine, but that's fine for a fast casual place looking to step up their coffee offerings, especially given the machine was clearly functioning well.)
Facility had at-grade entrances for wheelchair users, and I spotted some seating with moveable chairs for the same demographic.
Vegetarian options abound as well; a little less ideal for vegans but if you're looking for a spot like that which won't drive your friends insane, it's probably doable.
Would happily visit again next time I'm...
Read moreVisiting from Ontario. Used Google translate to communicate with our waitress. My meal came with a salad and it had black bits of rotten lettuce. I asked for a new salad and the new one also had rotten lettuce. I asked for another replacement and it also had rotten lettuce. I gave up at that point. Waitress brought our bill and took the liberty to select and add a 15% tip for herself. That is not right or ethical. The consumer should have a choice. We were planning to give a 10% tip based on our experience but she elected for a 15% tip and held the machine so my husband could not review the total and just tap his card. I wouldn't come back. Large portions but food is not fresh and is mediocre in taste. Waitress #045 as per my recipe. Her first name starts with a J. Won't mention her name here but that should be enough to identify her. I'll look at the extra tip as a donation to charity and move on...
Read moreSince you (owner) asked... the place was good, waiter was really good especially since my table was basically english speaking only. Food was not bad.. but portion size to cost was bad. And for being in Quebec was kinda hoping poutine be better, fries and gravy tasted like cheap canned gravy and no name store bought fries. Others at table weren't impressed with their orders of other food, same thing of portion size to cost. And we were told we had to go there as we in Quebec, and figured try it out as I rather try local food vs what we have back home. All got for ya...
