L'Œufrier (Île Perrot) — Restaurant in L'Île-Perrot

Was there this morning. Ordered scrambled eggs with the half waffle and sausage. When I got my plate I was given what looked like fried eggs chopped up. I told the waitress (who wasn't the original girl that took the order, she vanished after taking it). First, she acted like she didn't know what scrambled eggs are then said that's how they make them.. asking me if i meant to order a chopped omelet?? I know thats not what their scrambled eggs look like since I've had them there before and at other locations. She did offer to take it back but said it would be the same 😖..I kept it since my food was already cold, waiting for her to come for me to show her. The person i was with asked for well done bacon, it wasn't well done, and it was also cold along with her eggs. The service wasn't good and the quality of the food was lacking big time 😔. When the waitress saw I didn't eat the egg and that the other person had left half her plate she asked was everything okay? I'm like no I already told you it's really unappetizing I ordered scrambled eggs not to have gooey yolk and her order wasn't correct either. When all was said and done, we were not offered a discount and she was barely apologetic. The original waitress...

Waited ten minutes at the front before we had to ask a waitress (who saw us and passed us multiple times) if we could sit because nobody greeted us, she said someone was supposed to but offered us a table finally. It wasn't set and the seats had spilled coffee on them. Fine, she cleaned it. We were 3 and only got 2 sets of utensils. We waited another 40 minutes before we finally caught the waitresses attention and she asked if we were ready to order, we said no... Since we were never given a menu and getting her attention was not easy. We finally got menus and were able to order. I had to ask for coffee since we were forgotten in that aspect too. We finally got our food which ended up being delicious, but we'd already had a pretty bad service which soured the whole thing. We needed napkins and it was going to be another 20 minutes for sure before we'd get the waitresses attention so I got up and got my own. As a first impression.. it was not good service and I don't think they had enough staff to manage all the tables, despite it but being horribly busy. Maybe the waitress was new.. who knows, but definitely not going to bother trying again with the other...

Went for breakfast this weekend with my fiancé with high expectations (as our past experiences at this restaurant have mostly all been very good) but was quite disappointed by a number of things. We both ordered meals that came with potatoes, his being the breakfast poutine, and the potatoes tasted as if they were old and re-fried from yesterday. They were rock hard and very difficult to eat. The waitress who took our order came to ask if everything was okay almost right after we had gotten our meal so we didn’t have much time to notice, but as she never came back I couldn’t tell her about the problem. I left about 3/4 of my potatoes on the plate and when she came to clear them I told her they were too hard to eat and she said “ok I’ll tell my kitchen”. I was somewhat expecting her to try and resolve the problem, possibly by bringing some new potatoes or even just an apology, but we were met with passive aggressiveness when paying, to the point where she threw the receipt on the table and walked off without even saying goodbye glaring at us.
