Les Moulins La Fayette — Restaurant in L'Île-Perrot

I saw the place today and decided to visit with my entire family. It was Sunday and we arrived there at 17:30 It turned out the place closes at 17:00, which is fine. Inside it was full of staff people. We went in an and were sent back with - sorry, we are closed. The thing that made me bad impression, is that there wad no approach like to a customer. If it is a governmental institution, then I would understand. But you have a private business and you are trying to survive. 4 people coming in while the place is still full of people and even some sitting customers, and you don't even check what would they like to get. We would have taken some pastries for to go, and that would be all. Definitely not a good...

My husband picked up some millefeuilles to surprise me as they are my favorite. The icing was hard as a rock and tasteless. The pastry layers were dry and lacked anything close to what they should. On-top of it all each pastry was $$$. Which wouldn't be a big deal but when it's of such poor quality it's extremely dishonest to sell that as fresh or even call it millefeuilles. Just disappointed at this . Never buying from them again. Will support other local...

I tried this place for the first time and I loved it. 🥰 I ate an Éclair with chantilly ( it looks like the real French chantilly) and a coffee ; it was amazing. The staff was very nice and helpful. 😊 The only thing I was sad was I wanted a bread cutter thinner, which taste better but unfortunately they only have the machine for thicker slices; I end up bringing the whole bread and cut it at home with a knife. 😢 I'll go back again another day,...
