Mama Bravo Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in L'Île-Perrot

I've been a client for many year ordering or eating at the restaurant with my spouse or in groups and always gave a great review to the place . My wife asked me to make a choice between 3 places and I decided on going to Mama Bravo's for my birthday with friends and family. Not long after being there , drinks from supplied by the restaurant and meals hadn't been served yet the owner/manager of the restaurant came over to me and ordered me to take gifts (alcohol in the gift bags unopened and were not to be open either) and take them out of the restaurant because of some apparent law which doesn't permit clients to have unopened bottles on the premises!!! The owner had mentioned he had gotten a ticket of $700. in the past and didn't want that to happen again. Thank you for insulting me on my what should have been a nice evening among family and friends . My daughter worked as a waittress and has never seen that being done. There are many other restaurants in the neighborhood and I will choose wisely...

I took my grandparents there for an early lunch. It is not easy to find places where they can feel comfortable, receive good service, and find many choice items to choose from to eat. I would give the service here more than 5 stars if I could! As soon as we walked in the host spoke with us, helped them with their jackets, made sure they were comfortable and chose seats to suit my grandparents' needs. They chose the fish and chips and I had the bambino mushroom pizza. My grandparents love fish and chips and they were very happy with their meal and the value. They kept saying how great it was. I also liked my pizza. The dessert was also good. Our server was also wonderful, chatting with my grandparents and going beyond the call of duty to make sure we were well taken care of. I dont think my grandparents have ever been anywhere to eat where they fell more respected and dignified. I will definitely be back and hope to learn our waitresses name so we can go back when...

I've never written a bad review before, or ever sent food back at a restaurant, but our service was so awful tonight that I'm breaking my streak. Sticky table, dirty floor. Waitress never checked on our table, asked us if our food was okay as she set it down on the table before we had taken a single bite. We chuckled and said yes, expecting her to come back once we had started eating, but she never did. We both ordered burgers. The fries tasted and looked exactly like McCain's. The burger was AWFUL. The patty tasted like it had been microwaved. I took two bites, ate a few fries and left the rest of my plate. The waitress took away my plate without asking why it was barely touched. What a waste of...
