The worse customer service ever! These two gentlemen are in the wrong business as they have no understanding whatsoever of what working in the service industry means. They never greet you. Ignore customers when they walk in and can leave you standing there for several, and I mean many, many, minutes before taking your order. They never say thank you, never smile and rarely make eye contact. I used to be a customer but stopped going because of that. Now I am a freelance delivery driver & pick up at that location regularly. We are treated even worse than their walk-in customers. What they don't realize is that we represent a customer when we pick up a delivery order.
Just yesterday, the day of the storm, I went in to pick up an order, . The restaurant was empty & there was only one owner there. I politely gave him my order number & enthusiastically said "HI! How are you today?" As he was giving me the bag, he replied "OK madam please leave now. I am very busy!" I was flabbergasted! The restaurant was empty & he only had three Uber Eats orders on the go. I was only assigned one & there were no other drivers there yet so he certainly wasn't under any pressure. Again, I represent his customer who ordered the delivery. Would he have said that to the customer if he was the one picking up the order? The worse is, probably yes, that's how rude they are! I told him he was rude & was in the wrong business! I refused every other order I received for that location for the rest of the day as I was afraid I would give him a piece of my mind if I went back. I am not surprised by all the negative comments here.
In regards to the review by Cary Brandes - I was in the restaurant the night he took the picture & posted his review. He says they care more about their Uber Eats orders than the walk-in customers but I can attest this is absolutely false. It may have looked like I received my two orders before everyone else but the reality is I had already been waiting in my car for five minutes before I came in and I then waited an additional 10 minutes inside before the owner even acknowledged I was there. We do not get paid for waiting & we cannot receive other orders while we are stuck waiting. I watched as they slowly walked around refilling noodles & other items all the while ignoring customers already at the counter and the several that came in after me as well as the constant ping of the Uber Eats app. If they can't handle walk-in customers, they certainly shouldn't be on the Uber Eats platform accepting delivery orders.
If they are cooking they will never bother to acknowledge or greet customers who walk in. When people ask for extras or exceptions they clearly make it known by their facial expressions that this is a nuisance and at times will even say so. I simply do not understand why they want to operate a restaurant franchise if they hate people so much. And I certainly do not understand how they are still...
Read moreNever again. I had placed an order through BonApp and also made payment through the app. The reason I did so was to save time and not have to wait at the location to place the order and await the preparation of the food. When I arrived at 6:35 PM (order was requested do be ready for 6:30 PM) at the location, I noticed several people in line so I decided to ask the staff behind the counter (politely) whether I can pick up my online order, as I noticed it was bagged and ready on the counter (again, already paid for). Instead of allowing me to take my prepared order and leave, I was rudely told by the man cooking at the grill "can't you see people are waiting in line, you need to wait like everyone else". So, I was made to wait at the back of the line while other customers placed their orders and waited for their meals to be cooked upon order rather than taking my order and leaving since it was already paid for. What is the point of placing the order online, paying for it and picking it up when it's ready if I need to wait in line behind others who have not even ordered yet??? Not only was I treated poorly by the staff simply for asking a question about my online order, but when I got home and checked my order, I noticed one of the meals was prepared incorrectly (with beef instead of chicken). What a poor overall experience. I will never visit this location again. You need to train your staff to act professionally and treat customers with respect. You also need to train them on the concept of online ordering, as there should be a separate line for those who are simply arriving to pick up an online order which is already paid for. Oh, by the way, their online feedback form is broken and even though it is completed fully, the form cannot be...
Read moreOrdered through Uber eats but decided to pick up at the location as I was on my way. When I arrived at the counter. There is one other customer and I. So, I provide my name, phone number, complete order, time of order, payment info....still they cannot give me my order (which is already bagged and stting on the counter) because I do not have my order number. I don't seem to be able to find it quickly on the app. Instead of helping me... the staff went on ( with the other customer in line) about how I am unprepared and laughed. I asked for help as to where in the app I can see the number. They replied that I should call Uber ( implying they make no money out of Uber orders and this is none of their concern...). They added it's just like when I go to the post office and I should provide a number. ?? As they keep laughing at me, I decided to go back to my car to search through the app for some help. I checked in past orders, finally finding the order number. I went back inside. I don't even have time to give them the two first digits, they slided the brown bag across the counter. Why was it so important to provide the number then? No thank you. As I left, all I hear is rambling about women and their mood...😒🙄 Seriously, accountability and respect are keys in any customer service role. Plus, they cannot serve...
