Restaurant La Minervoise — Restaurant in La Minerve

Very nice to have a restaurant in the village. We were 6 adults who ate there for lunch today. Our feedback is honest and with best intentions for the restaurant to improve and succeed.

The menu says fish and chips is their specialty. Charging 23$ for frozen cutlets is disappointing. The BLT with chicken cutlet with piri piri mayo was good, however not enough mayo to get that piri piri taste. One of us ordered the large duck poutine for 23$. Please don’t be lacking in the cheese. There were very few cheese curds which a large poutine needs to be worth 23$. All of us were served cold French fries.

After awaiting this opening for some time, we finally had the pleasure of going for dinner with neighbours last night. It is so amazing to see this corner transformed into a vibrant community hub. Congratulations to the owners and staff who have put so much work and heart into bringing this business to life and giving it a new spin. At dinner, the restaurant was full and had a great vibe. So happy to have a great local restaurant. Been going to my cottage for over 30 years, and this is hands down the best restaurant La Minerve has ever had. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere.
