Veslo Grand Bend Restaurant and Motel — Restaurant in Lambton Shores

We spent the weekend, August 22 and 23, 2015 in the motel and then three days from August 25 to 27. The first time we had a room downstairs. During our second stay we had a room upstairs with two windows overlooking the grounds on the side and back of the building - beautiful trees, soothing, peaceful greenery. The rooms are freshly renovated and immaculately clean. They have fridges and TVs (the one upstairs is huge and has a huge fridge and huge TV to match the size of the room). The room downstairs has a queensize bed, the one upstairs - two queensize beds, a sofa, a big glass table and a counter with a sink in it. There is wi-fi in each room.||The grounds are just beautiful with three patios - one close to the reception, overlooking the highway, one on the side, very private since it is shielded from the highway by tall hedge, and one at the back of the building where you feel you are at the cottage i n the country.||The motel is conveniently situated between Port Franks beach with free parking and Pinery Park beaches. ||Soon the owners will open a big, licenced restaurant on the premises.||Vesna and Bob, the owners, are warm, very outgoing people, who make you feel like family members.||We are defitely planning to spend more time at Veslo whenever we want to go to Grand Bend area and if... they not fully booked. We didn’t have a good experience here. If u consider booking the rooms here, I advise u better not. Firstly, The room’s bed and pillows are uncomfortable, more importantly, the fridge and the heater inside room is making sound during night, at daytime, u don’t hear due to noisiest from outside, the sound will make u awake all of a sudden. I did’t have a good sleep all night even though I am the type of person that easily fall asleep. And I Have to return the room the next day. With our complaints, the owner didn’t want to admit the room’s issue or maybe he never pay attention into and investigate them and also give any discount or refund which I understand, but at least they should apologize, he promised to call us on Tuesday regarding refund or not, but they never call, and we have to chase them, and eventually reached them over the phone, their attitude is very rude and definitely their answer is no. If I would rebook my room, I definitely will find a better place. With the price I paid,...
