Daddy Green's Pizza — Restaurant in Lantz

Still looking for good pizza in East Hants - haven't found it at Daddy Green's. Recently ordered a medium pizza with the works and a medium garlic fingers. When I went to pick it up I wasn't greeted - just stared at. After giving them my last 4 digits of my phone number I was given my order. I picked up the boxes and thought they seemed very light. When I went out to my truck I had to look inside to see if there was actually anything inside. There was indeed pizza and garlic fingers but they didn't amount to much more than the weight of the empty boxes. I would rate the pizza a 5 out of 10 for taste (no better than store bought frozen pizza), 3 out of 10 for ingredients. I would rate the garlic fingers a 4 out of 10 for taste (not at all garlicy) and again a 3 out of 10 for ingredients. My parents were coming to visit NS for the first time this past weekend so Friday night I picked up a couple of pizzas and some garlic fingers from DG’s. My dad makes pizza from scratch at home using a combination of everything he likes at various takeout pizza places, so he’s seen a few slices in his lifetime. After a few bites of the chicken pizza, I asked him what he thought, to which he replied ‘I think this is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life’. My husband and I enjoy the pizza from here regularly, so we already appreciate how great it is, but coming from my dad makes it legit. Thanks Daddy Green's pizza for making my parents’ visit...

Today was the first time I ordered from them. The staff and delivery driver were friendly and helpful. I ordered the md pizza and md garlic finger special. I thought the person I was talking to said the order was 20.25 plus $8 delivery fee. When the order arrived it cost 40.25. The food was good and looked good, but not $40 good.
