Available here are typical pub fare of burgers plus, surprisingly, chicken souvlaki, which is a Mediterranean dish.

I enjoyed the chicken souvlaki and how it was well seasoned and flavourful.

For want of something different, I ordered the Apple & Brie Pork Burger ($21). As much as I want to say that it is an interesting new creation, it was not. The apple slices and the Brie cheese do not come together well with the pork burger.

I can see that the servers do try with the service, but it was unacceptable that they got the items in my bill wrong. I did not order any pop, but they had it initially added instead of bottled water. I pointed it out, and then they naturally corrected it after.

This brings me to the $1 bottled water. I understand that food establishments make good money with the beverage orders. I just personally feel that $1 is a bit too much for 1 bottled water. The waiter also could have at least mentioned the price of the bottled water order to us when our orders were...

We stopped in Rockport for a late lunch at the pub. Sat in small courtyard (the tables on the grass & rock hill had no table table service due to Covid). The courtyard is smaller, maybe 8 to 10 tables, so at busy times the wait might be long but at 2pm we only had a 5 min wait. The only one server working however she did an excellent job looking after the 7 tables - hats off to her. The food was good to very good. Small green salad & grilled chicken $15 and a burger & salad for $14. A pint was $7.5 & pop $3. The burger was excellent, salad & chicken ok (chicken was dry). So I'd say the food was a solid 3. I did notice several people ordering pizza - which looked excellent! The view of the river was lovely, tables and courtyard clean, and our server was terrific! I would go back. FYI - Rockport has several thousand island tour boats that dock along its small shoreline. On weekends and in vacation season it's a very busy place. You will need to be patient to...

After Aug last year, I went back for Saturday prime rib special($37), pleasantly surprised by massive thick size of roast plated. However there were sufficient amount of fat attached that I chose not to eat. Roast was not seared properly around eges and tasted almost like steamed meat, food was served on a cold plate( not warmed plate) so temerature of meat & veggies dramatically dropped. Service was quick and friendly.

(Aug 2023) Our server Oliver was fantastic and made whole dining experience very pleasant. Their patio overlooking St.Lawrence river was very pretty. We went their for Sunday dinner in June, it was not too crowed with tourists.

Fish taco($20) was enough to fill me up for dinner and liked lightly dressed pico de gallo on top. Each taco was served with the wedge of lemon. We also ordered wings, chicken souvlaki, burger, beef dip. Big portion size & everyone loved their meal.

Sticky toffee pudding was a must to...

A decent place. Absolutely fantastic service from the staff. The food is great too. It is pretty standard pub food, which is my only point to fault the place on... On one hand, it met my expectations for what I ordered because it was the same thing I'd eat anywhere else. On the other hand, as I looked the menu up and down, there was nothing that stood out as something I absolutely had to try. And that was only just the slightest bit disappointing. That being said, this remains a great place to stop on your way through the Thousand Islands!
