Absolutely fantastic restaurant and venue! We've been for brunch twice, both times so delicious and price point was great. We've been for dinner several times, our first time was for the Valentines meal and it was delectable!
The most important trip to the Ivy was September 28th, our wedding day! We booked a small outdoor ceremony (42 guests including 10 under 10), cocktail hour on the patio, and reserved the upstairs of the restaurant for our reception. It was so beautiful! The only thing my husband and I had to reserve was the ceremony chairs which the venue coordinator even told us where most clients ordered from. I did all our florals and decor myself, and we really didn't need a whole lot of decor as the venue is so incredible all on its own. My bridesmaids and I got ready in the coach house in the morning. The hydrangea were in bloom all over, adding even more scenic views to the already beautiful sights during our first look, ceremony, and family photos. We had our first dance on the dock which was so intimate and the photos from it - WOW! (Also shout out to the couple on the boat who went below deck during our first dance without anyone needing to ask so they weren't in the photos!) The food was so delicious, dinner service was a little slow but it didn't damper the night at all, kids meals were kind of staggered to let them eat and be able to have fun and play while adults were finishing meals and we just squeezed the father-daughter dances in between dinner and dessert to makeup the time, which was very close to the original timeline anyhow. Everyone had a great time. Overall, such an incredible experience and a big big part of that was thanks to the Ivy and the incredible staff! Extra big thank yous to Marlene the amazing venue coordinator, and the wonderful servers Emmeilia, Leah and Carly. You all helped make our day extra special and we're all so sweet and kind! Our little heartfelt moment all together at the end of the night will always be a...
Read moreSpectacular Mother's Day brunch in 2024 a complete disappointment in 2025. See the updated review below. Selection was outstanding. Something for everyone. We had 3 generations. Brunch included mimosas, which was a nice surprise. Eggs Benedict 2 ways, farmers sausage and thick cut bacon. Fluffy pancakes which is hard to achieve on a buffett. Soup, salads, charcuterie, and more. The homemade desserts were mouthwatering. The pastries where light and airy. I am glad to see the restaurant back to it's high quality of fresh food. We have been dining here since 2015. Have had only 1 poor meal and service a couple of years ago. I am soooo glad we gave it another chance. Can't wait to come back for another Sunday brunch this summer. They exceeded my expectations and made it a wonderful day, along with my family!!! I am updating my 2024 review. Attended the 2025 mothers day brunch and a complete disappointment. Completely disorganized. Food was not ready leading to huge line-up and empty plates that were not replenished. Reservations made as soon as they were available online. Had called and confirmed our seats. Was seated by hostess and asked to move to a table in the direct line of the buffet area. I asked why as they did not move the tables to accommodate a larger group, which I would have understood. When I asked the manager why we were moved when the table was still vacant, We were seated back at original table and a snide comment was directed at me. The other seats around us were also vacant and other guests requested being moved out of the buffet area lineup to them. Totally disorganized and significant cutbacks were...
Read moreWe had dinner here Friday night with 7 of us. Reservation was for 6:30, so we we basically there before anyone else. Our server was new but pleasant and we felt bad that our appetizers took so long and the fact that one person didn't get their appetizer for another half hour. Okay the food was good but extremely poorly timed. People around all had their meals. So we decided to give them another chance for Sunday brunch. Reservations at 10:30, one other couple there. Our group had 12 people, 2 diabetics and a very well behaved child. The servers were very apologetic after a two hour wait. We had mimosas and coffee and waited and waited. When we were going to leave we were told it was being plated. Some food came out, half of it was cold and the last person to get served was our host (who lives in Gan) ate after most every person was finished. The Ivy charges a 20% surcharge gratuity for groups over 8. If you can't handle large groups, why take the reservation? So my husband and I had to leave before the meal was finished because he was working. We have been to the ivy many times, but I think that is the last. Don't go in a large group. They can't handle it. Or hire another chef. Surely with the prices you charge, you could afford it. I have to add, that we felt very bad for the servers. They...
