There's a good reason this place is a locals favourite. Café de la Grave is a funky spot with some really interesting menu offerings. Recommended by our B&B host, they exceeded our expectations. The Carpaccio of beets and goat cheese was fabulous and things got even better from there. Service was very good, felt more like being in someone's home.

I can't say enough about this place. Completely unassuming as you walk by it. I'm so glad we stopped in.. it was the highlight of the trip! Natalie the owner is this beam of light. She radiates with happiness and positivity. She was made for this business. We had the muscles (so good and a VERY generous portion) and the epic seafood pot pie. That's going to be my final meal on the island. That's how good it was. I want to remember my trip with that dish. We went on a busy day and they were short staffed and you could tell but EVERYONE kept their cool and was so sweet. Their barrista was working extra hard making all the coffee and tea drinks with a smile. Love this place! I'll be...

We were there in mid July. Some folks had recommended it for its atmosphere, food and general vibe. Well.....they packed us in like sardines and then went full hippy hipster by serving half cooked food( as if that is the latest rage!?), starring off into the distance while taking our orders and strutting about feigning great angst coupled with that " please-oh-please- I'm-a-busy-person-so-make-your-order-snappy" arrogance dripping off the tips of their not been bunched yet snooty little noses. I regret not asking simply for a bowl of room temp kitchen slop......I at least would not have had any...

The best cozy coffee place in la grave! They have live music, a packed menu with tons of delicious options, and a gorgeous view of the ocean. Great service and just such a warm atmosphere. I got the chowder in the bread bowl which was a very generous portion and so comforting and creamy. My dad also got the cheesecake and it was delicious!!! They also had a great iced latte with local honey!

Get a reservation if you can but if you're lucky without a reservation, you will get a seat at the...
