We love the restaurant in L'ille Perrot and were so excited a new location was coming closer to where we live now. We used to pick up from the other location at least once a week and missed the delicious food.
Last night was a terrible experience in Les Coteaux, the second of two experiences we have had there. The first time we dined in. We were not told of shortages of food when we ordered and when our plates arrived, we were not given any rice, we had ordered rice and potatoes. When I asked a waitress, I was told in a rude voice "well we gave you extra potatoes!". This wasn't the point, we should have been told when we ordered, because we might have ordered differently. My daughter ordered gyro and was not told there was none left, her order was switched without her knowledge to a chicken stick souvlaki. Again, please tell your clients if a change like this is to take place, it's common courtesy.
When the bill arrived, we had been charged for the more expensive item we hadn't received. The amount was not huge, but I brought it to the attention of the same server who I spoke to about the rice. Her attitude was appalling. It's a matter of principal, and not the dollar amount. She came back to us with the revised bill and exclaimed loud enough for everyone in the restaurant to hear "I credited your 50 cents!!!" as if the 50 cents was the problem. The problem started when we walked in the door and were not told the items we ordered were not available. The 50 cents was just the final straw on the proverbial camel back. We decided at that point we would not be back.
Last night, we went back because the food was always so delicious. We waited an hour for our pick up order after we were given a time for pick up. Obviously they were very busy, so some delay is to be expected......an hour??? We watched as customer after customer waited for their pick up orders because of some system failure with the kitchen and the front of house able to communicate.....however, they were able to talk about their personal issues and use their cell phones at the cash.....just get the orders out! The kitchen was very disorganized and was not able to handle the volume, once again the person coordinating the kitchen was able to discuss who would take the pouch to the owner at the end of the day, but could not coordinate getting the orders out....
When I got home, a 5 minute drive, my pita was as hard as a rock, likely on the grill the entire time we waited, the food was otherwise good, not great, just good. We will not waste our hard earned money again. We are very dissatisfied and will never return to this location. Management needs to take a look at hos this location...

Food is amazing, tasty and fresh, service is friendly and although the restaurant is very busy since it just opened we didn't feel forgotten. The decor is beautiful, very clean and the ambiance is great with the greek music. It was incredibly delicious, and exceeded our expectations. Our guests were impressed, well fed and we still had a lot of left overs that we were able to freeze.
