White Gull Restaurant & Marina — Restaurant in Lockeport

First Class restaurant in the historic ville of Lockeport.

Very comfortable place with many tables and windows for being delighted with the sea view. The menu has several options and a fair price. I asked for a lobster-beef burger 🍔 (a special dish out of the menu, called surf/turf burger; a little more expensive), delicious 😋. I was attended by a beautiful waitress (now I'm tented to go back just to see her 🙊), very attentive and friendly. My beverage selection was a local beer from Sherburne, a good pale ale called Hunky Dory.

fish and fries--fish was overcooked and greasy, fries tasted burnt chowder--thick, not like a soup or chowder at all. Mostly potato. Tasted of raw flour. Seasonings were sprinkled on top, so any bite from the top was very salty, while the rest was...floury and potato-y. Chowder was served with a very sad grilled cheese consisting of barely grilled white bread and sliced, processed cheese. Waitress was excellent, so way to go staffing front of the house? Also the iced tea was real...

It was closes this evening! We have been on the location at 5 p.m. Closed!!! No information on the door. Nothing. We came extra from the Campground nearby with our R.V. and prepare it... and this for nothing. Also the staff from the NSLC on the other site was very surprised. This behaviour is very unfriendly for the customer. I want to give the owner a chance, do answer me, but there is no HP oder EmailAdress available. And therefore here...
