Update March 2024...Very Disappointed!!! This was one of our favorite places for seafood. We haven't been in a while and decided to go back but sadly I think it will be our last time there. There seems to be a lack of care in the food fish was hardly cooked and my lobster roll was a bun with juice on it there was no lobster for $26. Not very happy. The below pictures was my sandwich today and my sandwich last time I was there like a year ago. I edited my review so the next part was my original review I wish I could have said the same today....WoW!!!! We went Sunday for a family dinner of 13. It was very busy and the Service was Amazing!!!! The food was Amazing!!!!! and the girls were Awesome and friendly. Portions were a great size, best place for lobster. Just a great experience overall. Some of us were from Ontario and it did not disappoint, great way to end a vacation. Also got to meet the owners and they were very nice and it was great to see them there. very well run establishment!!! Will be one of our favorites for sure. Lobster roll, scallops, clams, hotchicken, burgers, chowder, pies oh my 😁

Spent a week here in NS during lobster season as part of a life long seafood addiction and dream to eat the freshest lobster possible... Dennis point cafe made it a complete dream with their seafood chowder, lobster poutine and hot lobster sandwich. The hot lobster sandwich with the creamed lobster was mind blowing, insanely good, with the poutine just a hair less amazing but still incredible. Their chowder wasn't the absolute best I had this week, but it was a VERY close second if I'm being honest. Just absolutely phenomenal experience all around, great decor, clean and spacious too! Karen d'Entremont even warned us about the incoming, likely to be loud, coffee breakers from the wharf before we chose a seat and she made sure we had a nice peaceful spot with a gorgeous ocean/wharf view. Her attention to detail and care for us as customers was second to none. Definitely going to come back any chance I get now that we live fairly close over in NB.

Really good food! We all had the Acadian Sampler which consists of a homemade bun, seafood chowder, fish cake with chow chow( delicious!!) and rappie pie with molasses on the side. This was new to me and it took some time to figure out how I best liked it. ( with a little bit of molasses on it) In the end I’m glad I tried it. We also got the coconut cream pie but we ate it too fast for me to take a picture of it. It was great! Dad also had the cider called ‘ no boat on Sunday’ which was good and he said he would definitely get again. We will be back for sure!

I came in with friends to have supper. We was a party of 8 and the server was very nice towards the kids. The food is a different story. I order the philiy steak sandwich. Which did looked satisfying with the ceaser salad. The salad was in a cup with alot of parm on top of it. After checking out the sandwich and it turns out to be cold. The cheese wasn't really cooked or melted. The meat wasn't hot at all but 1 piece of it. So bitting in it for me was a cold mess! The veg in the sandwich was cooked but I got this big overpowering tase of BBQ sauce. I flipped over my cup of salad "after given in up on my sandwich" I noticed that the lettuce wasn't really crispy. You know "fresh & firm" like it should be. Guess it was prep ahead of time seemed like it left in the metal bowl which made it soggy . Like it was just over dressed and it just didn't sit well. I did bring this to my servers attention. I did say it just wasn't for me , all she done was take the salad off the check and told me that's how they make it here. She also told me the lettuce was cripy and didn't take bad criticism well. One of the most easy to make but once it sits over the heat lamp to long it was just a big disappointment for me. Just wasn't fresh for me as they said at the door. What a big lie to...

If you're a tourist, I'd recommend against this restaurant on the off chance you have the same experience as I did. The food was fantastic but our food was late; the waitress told us the order hadn't been started after fifteen to twenty minutes (even she thought it was taking too long).

We were one of four or five tables between two waitresses, it wasn't busy. Then when my order of a hot lobster on toast with a poutine side arrived, it was regular fries. When I pointed out it was supposed to be a poutine, the worker (cook?) said "oh, she told me that", with a five second awkward pause after saying that. ... I don't know what she was aiming at.

I accepted the fries as-is (the worker did offer to take it back and fix it, but after waiting that long, I just wanted my food) and while I didn't double check, I believe the poutine was removed from the check. It seemed every other table had their food quickly and correctly, just my luck we were passing through and heard it was good, but ended up with a confusing and somewhat...
