I was so excited to see a good restaurant in Saskatchewan. The photos looked so good. THEN we got our meal. I was actually applaud. I had the special “salmon sushi bowl” but I subbed tuna. My husband got the enchiladas. Both of these meals were truly awful The enchiladas are nothing like what they should be. No beans, no sour cream, no sauce. Also if you look at the corn, it is rotten. The sushi bowl is just a grain blend, with raw veggies and tuna. The avocado was not ripe. There was no pickled vegetables, not even ginger and no seaweed paper. Don’t be fooled by the photos from years previous which were clearly different owners. If we weren’t so hungry we would have walked out. But I’ll be honest I regret eating my meal.

Oda is such a hipster style cafe for a small town like Manitou Beach. And I loved it=D There are literally 3 restaurants to choose from if you are at Manitou Beach. Oda is the best out of those 3. I loved that they had a poke bowl (in the middle of nowhere it's an unusual item on the menu) and just very healthy food options. They even have milk substitutes for your latte which again is amazing for such a tiny town! I loved the exterior colour of the cafe =D And a lovely patio with a lake view is a huge bonus. The owner is doing an amazing job by creating something like this in a very small town, the staff is super friendly. Keep it up guys!

Amazing Little Secret My wife and I took a romantic getaway to Manitou and decided to try this place out and we are SO happy that we did. In fact, we went back three more times. It's such a neat little restaurant with a cool vibe and perfect view of the beach and water with patio seating available. The food is amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. The staff is also so nice as well. My only complaint is that there isn't a place like this in Regina! Highly recommended!

I’m not from here so we decided to take a trip here with my family to visit the beach and stopped by Oda coffee. Our first experience was smooth. We decided to dine in and ordered several items, along with a variety of coffee. Some of the items ordered were shrimp cocktail, turkey sandwich with soup, guac and chips, caesar salad, cookies and cheesecake. Overall, the food was mediocre, but we were totally fine with it. What made the experience underwhelming was the service. I understand we ordered a lot, and while the server was trying to figure out who ordered which drinks, there was an additional drink that was given that wasn’t placed. As we were trying to figure out who it belonged to (we had a party of 11), the server yelled out the drink order really loud, in a very impolite and impatient tone. Our water didn’t come until the end, after asking several times. They ran out of the fruit tart so we ordered the original cheesecake. They came out with a different cheesecake, and said they ran out of the original one.

Our coffee weren’t even touched halfway. Again, drinks and food were mediocre.

The view...

Today I came to Manitou for a wedding and I almost ate lunch at the hotel restaurant. My partner convinced me that we should check out the coffee and wine bar across the street, and boy, am I glad that she did! I ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl and it was stellar! For only twelve dollars, it was a very filling and healthy dish. It was a vibrant mix of many vegetables and mixed greens over a perfect blend of quinoa, wild rice, and brown rice, topped with plenty pieces of sashimi grade salmon covered in a delicious dressing and sesame seeds. They have vegan options as well, and tasty baking as well as wonderful daily specials. I paired my bowl with a Nokomis beer that was priced surprisingly well, far cheaper than I can find it back in Regina. With a wonderful waterfront view and super friendly staff, this was an exciting and relaxing treat of an experience and I would highly recommend it to any and all who make their way to and through...

A small little restaurant in the heart of Manitou Beach, Oda surprised me with its quality of ingredients and their preparation. Oranges were freshly squeezed to order. The owner would walk to the herb garden just outside and pick the freshest herbs for the dishes and drinks.

Speaking of the owner, he’s a very personable guy and finds a way to talk to anyone. He would step in any time a job needed help being done, all while entertaining guests of all ages.

The food was top notch - my steak was flavorful (if a tad overcooked), and my girlfriend said she had never had ahi tuna that good before. Brunch the next day was just as fantastic - a simple, yet delicious bagel sandwich and a delightful cold brew coffee.

We will...
