Today was the second time we have tried Your Naighbourhood Table since it switched from Country Sisters. The first time we went was only a few days after they opened, so we figured that our disappointing experience could be chalked up to them still needing time to get everything going. We went back today to give it another shot since they have been open for several months, but it was just as disappinting as the first time. The food was all undercooked (bacon, french toast, toast, sausage, etc), the eggs were excessively oily, and the french toast was tasteless and very disappointing. Once the food was dropped off we didn't see our server again until she dropped off the bill and instructed us where to pay. We used to love eating here when it Country Sisters, the food was always great, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was great and there was always a long line we didn't mind waiting in. I am not at all surprised that the two times we went there was no line up here and plenty of open tables. We will not...
Read moreGreat food, great prices and fantastic service! I have been here too many times to count and never leave disappointed 🙂 some of my go too's are their egg salad, BLT (have not found a better one yet), home fries (order before 11), maple cream donuts (whipped buttery cream filling, THE BEST 👌 with a maple icing) and monster cookies! There's lots of other yummy things as well, you can buy fresh baked bread, tons of other baked goods, soups, salads, buns, cheese, pepperettes, frozen meals to bring home and cook for dinner another day, maple syrup, jams, jelly, salsa, too much to list. Oh and also you can eat in, ironically I have not, but it's always busy so I'm guessing it's good. They don't make maple creams on Saturday because they are so busy and they're time consuming so come during the week or early Saturday and you might get...
Read moreLoved this resturant when it was the Country Sisters but after the new name change recently they changed more than the name. The service was fast and no real line up. The food is more money now, no so great either. The hungry man breakfast consists of potatoes not cooked well, 2 strips of bacon now, and eggs that don't taste good at all. My wife's coffee tasted aweful and made her stomach turn. All the walls were freshly painted and all faith based signs taken down. (disappointed with this) Baked goods are not the same, and we will not be back again. I do not like this diner anymore due to the more expensive food which is poorly cooked. I guess the new owners wanted the customer base still but the food suffered while the building...
