Normaway Inn Music Barn — Restaurant in Margaree Valley

Great food and service in the restaurant and wonderful entertainment in the little barn. The inn itself is very dated and musty. Given its age, a bit of updating and sanitizing would be an improvement. The paint or porcelain on the bathtub was chipped, the stained toilet would only flush once and then the cover of the tank would have to be removed and chain reattached for next flush. The steps going to the second floor needed cleaning. A waft of dampness and must hit me as soon as we opened the door. We killed a number of house flies and spiders in the room and bathroom. I would eat in the dining room again and attend a concert in the barn, but will not stay...

I stayed there with my parents & my 2 sisters. The cabin we had was perfect! It has 2 beds & a pull out couch. It also had a connections ting bathroom complete with a whirlpool tub & shower head. There was breakfast inside the main house where the office is located, breakfast was delicious!!!

Everything was clean & comfortable. The owner & his family were so incredibly kind, welcoming, & attentive. They also have horses, Highland cows, & a beautiful little donkey on site! Such an excellent place...

We loved our stay here. We rented the green chalet. Really rustic and cozy spot. We enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot. The old radio in the room was a nice touch. The best part of the stay was the food in the restaurant. Oh my! Best coffee and blueberry pancakes I've ever had. Loved the salmon too.
