Prairie Diner — Restaurant in Marsden

Prairie Diner is a gem, located on Centre Street in the heart of Marsden. Their menu has a great variety, from hearty soups and burgers to delicious pasta dishes. Personally, Im hooked on their Baked Seafood fettuccine Alfredo. It is rich, creamy, and packed with flavour. Hands down, the best I’ve ever had!

They also have specials. Today, I ordered the flavourful Filipino Empanada, it is a delicious fried turnover consisting ground pork and vegetable filling. Yummy and crunchy shell and the mouthwatering sauce was superb!

The service is just as impressive as the food. Jane and her team are always welcoming, friendly, and go the extra mile to make you feel right at home. It’s that rare kind of place where the food is amazing and the staff make you want to

return again.

So we went to Marsden today to their annual festival, we entered the big rig category of their Show&Shine. Afterwards it was highly recommended that we dine at the Prairie Diner and are we ever happy we did! They have so many selections on their menu. The food is delicious, the service is fast. The staff is friendly and always smiling. The atmosphere in this Saskatchewan small town restaurant is like no other restaurant I've been to in awhile. Very upbeat and happy and the owner Sid even took time to go to each table to visit with all his customers. We will definitely be returning. Its a 40 minute drive for us but we will be going back...

This is my favourite local restaurant! Jane runs a tight ship and makes many delicious, filling dishes; some fine bartending skills, as well!

If you like burgers, then you must try the Marsden Burger ... huge double beef patties with bacon and cheese with some sides will leave you stuffed! ...very good value, too!
