I had the chicken wings, flank steak and brownie
I tought the wings were quite good. There isnt really a batter on them but probably some sort of dry rub or seasoning added afterwards as there was a nice flavor to them. They were maybe a bit on the small size but the price was reasonable. I found the BBQ sauce to be quite delicious! So much that I kept it for my mashed potatos.
The service was slow and I would say below average of my experiences
The steak had a really nice gravy, i think it might have been a peppercorns sauce. It was on the tougher side but flank steak is not one I order often so maybe it's normal. The steak knife was OK but I like a sharp knife and I almost never get one that's sharp enough.
I also had the brownie that I enjoyed.
All and all I would come back and I've been here before. I believe my best experience was the ribs. I imagine it's maybe because they use the same BBQ sauce...

Came to Matane in October and couldn't get a table because it was so busy so we thought we'd try again this summer. With so little choices and so many limited menus, we were looking forward to our final night of vacation.
The food was good. However, the service was so bad I almost threw a fit. Not once did the server come back to our table until we flagged him down for our bill. We would have ordered additional drinks and dessert.
We noticed he was this way with all customers regardless of language, and that his modus operandi was to simply slam meals down and then ignore customers for the remainder of their time.
When we finally managed to get our bill and he handed us a machine he became impatient and tried to grab the machine out of our hands because his friend was waiting for a table at the door and he then ran over and hugged him. No words were exchanged with us whatsoever...

J'arrive de mon souper des fêtes de job dans ce restaurant où je vais pour la deuxième et dernière fois. Ce fût très long avant qu'on nous serve l'apéro, le restaurant étant bondé, si bien que ma collègue cru bon de demander à la serveuse lorsqu'elle s'est pointé s'il serait mieux qu'on commande les repas tout de suite? Elle nous assure que non pour revenir s'excuser 30 minutes plus tard pour service quasi inexistant en nous offrant gratuitement des pains froids et des biscuits soda, cadeau de la direction, histoire de nous faire patienter. Quand le repas est enfin arrivé, nous avons redemandé à boire mais les drinks ne sont jamais arrivés si bien que certains de mes collègues dont moi, avons choisi de les faire annuler car nous souhaitions recevoir l'addition et partir. Pour se faire excuser, la serveuse est venue nous porter gratuitement un petit gâteau roulé au chocolat blanc sec, cadeau de la direction.
Voilà l'excuse, le restaurant était bondé à cause des party de Noël ! Prenez-moins de réservations au lieu d'offrir un mauvais service ! Mes pensées à la serveuse, aimable comme tout, qui faisait son possible en subissant la pression et les commentaires négatifs...
