⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Crazy Cookie House — A Vancouver Island hidden gem you don’t want to miss! 🍪

If you’re wandering through Metchosin or anywhere nearby, make a detour to The Crazy Cookie House—trust us, your sweet tooth will thank you. This magical little spot is tucked into the countryside like a secret waiting to be discovered, and the moment you step out of the car, you’ll know you’ve landed somewhere special. It’s got all the charm of a storybook cottage, mixed with the irresistible scent of freshly baked goodness wafting through the air.

The cookies? Outrageously tasty. Thick, soft, flavour-packed, and baked to golden perfection—every bite melts in your mouth and makes you wonder how you ever settled for regular cookies. The flavours rotate and surprise you, but what stays consistent is just how delicious and satisfying they are. You’ll come for one… and leave with a small stack (and maybe a plan to come back next weekend).

It’s a place that sparks joy for kids of all ages—and a few wide-eyed adults too. Whether you’re on a family outing, a weekend adventure, or just in need of a quick pick-me-up, this is the perfect stop to add a little sweetness to your day. It feels like something out of a local legend—and once you’ve been, you’ll start telling everyone you know about it.

Heads up: The Crazy Cookie House is a cash-based business, but they’re totally cool with eTransfer if that’s more your style. Either way, make sure you come prepared, because once you catch that first whiff, there’s no going back.

Pure joy in cookie form—worth every crumb. A truly delightful stop and a reminder of how lucky we are to have hidden treasures like this on Vancouver...

The Crazy Cookie House is exactly what it sounds like, in the best possible way.

Tucked right beside the Witty’s Lagoon parking lot, this whimsical little hut (originally a play fort!) has been transformed into a magical cookie stand that’s as charming as it is delicious.

The cookies are massive, individually wrapped, and baked to buttery perfection. Whether you’re into classic chocolate chip, M&Ms, marshmallow or something even more adventurous, there’s always a flavour that hits the spot.

Prices range from $2.50 to $4.00, still way cheaper than a cafĂŠ treat, and twice the size! But fair warning: even one of these big beauties will leave you dreaming about your next one.

Perfect for hikers, beachgoers, or anyone passing through the area, The Crazy Cookie House brings joy with every bite.

…And what makes it even better? It’s run by a local family who genuinely care about their community. You can taste the love and homegrown spirit in every cookie.

A hidden gem with a whole lot of...

The Crazy Cookie House is such a quirky hidden treasure! Off the side of the road right beside the Witty’s Lagoon parking lot — you can’t miss the little shack surrounded by eclectic nicknacks, garden decor and cutie gnomes.

Inside, the shelves are stacked with amazing cookies, each loaded with different toppings. Our favorites are the s’mores, skor and Kit Kat cookies, but the mini egg ones at Easter are unforgettable.

Cookies are $2.50 each, which feels like a steal for how good they are. There are gluten-free options too, plus homemade marshmallows and some cans of pop.

The whole place runs on an honor system — you just drop some change or send an e-transfer.

Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. A cookie (or two) before or after a hike at Witty’s Lagoon is pretty...

When you read Harry Potter, there is a certain warmth you feel when you read about the trio going to the Burrow with smoke coming out of its chimney. I was somehow reminded of the same warmth and also of a miniature version of the Burrow when I went to @crazycookiehouse . Ok ... Time to get back to my cookie and Harry Potter and the sorcerer's Stone (for the umpteenth time)

Went today for the first time. It was AWESOME! I can’t wait to go back. The cookies were delicious, reasonably priced and it was just overall a really cool place to go. Please keep this place open forever! See you again soon!
