Bamboo Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Meteghan Centre

We came here because it is the closest restaurant to our friend’s house, and we enjoyed our time here. The food was good but the service was a bit slower than expected. They are one of those Chinese restaurants that serve the egg rolls separate from the meal and we would have preferred everything together, so if you want them with your meal, make sure you ask. Everything we ordered came on its own plate, and came at different times, which is one of the reasons I subtract points from restaurants. However, other than that, the experience was a good one. Good food, great friendly staff, and they even gave us roses for Mother’s Day. You have to give them extra credits for that, putting my score back up to a four. Definitely a business...

Went to the new location at Mavillette Beach got there at 17:30 there was 10 of us including a small child. The service was very, very slow. The first to gat a meal was the child chicken nuggets and fries. The next service was for four people. After the four had finished eating. One more meal was served. A short time later meal number eight arrived. After several minutes meal number nine arrived. Once number nine had almost finished her meal I finally got mine. By the time I finished my meal the bills and fortunate cookies arrived and we were advised the restaurant closed in half an hour. Will not be going there again. Due to Covid the restaurant is only a takeout location now.

I ordered a number three which was OK. Also ordered a number 11 which was poor quality. There was four small spareribs, three slivers of beef, some broccoli and the rest chicken fried rice. Overall the portion was small I think because they use a Styrofoam tray rather than an 8 inch aluminum container. The food was not very flavourful

The egg roll was of poor quality and I don’t know how they make them but usually there’s vegetables in it and this was more of a paste, see my picture.
