I'll address the 2 shorter points first. 1 - way too crowded, bad organization, never know where to stand to actually get your stuff when it's ready (coffee pick up on the right, ordering line middle, sandwiches etc to the left). This franchise location definitely needs a makeover. 2 - the food is only right about 25% of the time. When I get the right order without having to park and go back in, I celebrate. Should probably just be the standard experience though. And even when it is the right order, half the time it still tastes like they haven't cleaned their sandwich making station in a month or so (that's right folks - ever wanted every flavor of sauce and spread Tim's offers on a plain simply sausage? Go here. It will be smeared all over the outside. Clean up or change gloves more often or something, that's gross.)
And last but definitely not least... The service. I have watched employees badmouth other employees while speaking to me. I have heard inappropriate comments spoken among the employees, in the middle of a rush at that. Probably not the best time to be telling personal stories. I know work can be boring and you gotta make it fun, but appropriate fun would be more professional. And finally to that one worker who messed up my red eye iced Capp by boldly assuming I was another customer that they get who always comes in and complains the espresso isn't mixed in - I'm not her, I like it poured over top which is the standard way to make it at every Tim Hortons (I have visited every Tim Hortons along the trans Canada highway all across the country. No one mixes it in unless specifically asked to.) I also didn't appreciate your attitude about it, running your mouth loudly to all the other employees about it. But I'm sure you understood that from the look I gave you that day. I hope your day got better, and I hope you find a job that isn't dealing with the public. I know you gotta be going through something in your personal life girl, so I just went on my way to the beach with my family and kids, poorly made iced Capp and all.
Y'all would have to pay me to come back as a customer. Just ridiculous. Will be hitting Robins when I head that way from now on, they're not far away, and they have way better food for cheaper. They don't have iced Capps or espresso sadly, but a small price to pay to just not have a terrible anxiety inducing experience just trying to get coffee on a day trip.
To the manager - I don't know if you're the problem, or if it's the owner. But your staff needs better training in how to be professional, polite, and the face of the company when dealing with the public. Screwing up orders all the time is one thing, pobody's nerfect - dealing with it by being rude and unapologetic is not the customer service way. Coming from someone who has been in customer service/management my whole life.
I'll check back in a year and see if y'all have done literally anything to change. Until then, robins donuts rock and I don't get talked about to my...
Read moreWent to this location a couple of times, both visits were horrible. Staff in the evening wouldn't acknowledge my existence, completely ignored me and the guy making my sandwich was having a meltdown. Lady was more intent on talking to coworkers then serving. Sandwich was made on whole-wheat not white because "we didn't have any" lettuce was black on the edges and should have been thrown in the garbage. Second occassion I went to get a drink without ice, the employees laughed as they gave me half a cup and told me this is what I ordered which is a joke, image will be included of the same beverage just a different flavour from a second tim hortons. I spoke to the "manager" Justin and was given a refund and he told me he spoke to the owner and they want my contact information to fix this and they would call me immediately. Turns out he is a liar and the owners have no interest in correcting the issues at this business. They can't keep employees because of the toxicity of the workplace and they allow the employees to talk bad about customers and even swear at them without any course of discipline. I will not be going back and hope others...
Read moreI am usually pretty understanding when it comes to how hard fast food and minimum wage service workers work, however that does not excuse workers being rather rude or curt to a customer that has done nothing to warrant such behavior. I visited around 7:00 with an order for some iced capps and basic pastries, which was fine. Honestly no complaints with the food, it was your average Tim Hortons. The gentleman in charge of the window was the problem. Firstly, he informed me that my phone brightness was too low to scan. This was fine, and as I turned it up and apologized he gave a rude/sarcastic comment about how he loves to have his bightness so low that he cant see his screen and that he finds it hard to trun it up when someone needs him to. Completely unneccessary. I took my food after paying and went to drive off when id seen he had forgotten the biscuit. He seemed quite amused id forgotten that and he went to put it in the toaster. I took my food and drove off. Honestly I think he just needs more customer service training. The food was fine, just wasnt great at working...
