Microbrasserie Du Lievre — Restaurant in Mont-Laurier

Once arrived, with reservation, needed to wait before being seated in a not so crowded restaurant... tables and chairs are extremely old school. Waited 30 minutes before had to tell hubby to order from the bar since no one had come to see us... food: I had fettuccine with seafood; was very good👍, hubby had fish and chips.... fish batter was extremely greassy to the point that not eatable.... he also asked for no salad as supplied in the plate and got exactly no salad but very few fries where he had to order an extra.... bathrooms are definitely not handicapped adapted. Need to pass in front of all the doors before getting to the handicapped stall and no hand rails or high rise toilet... other then little ramp on outside, no handicapped...

We recently ate 2 meals at this nice micro brewery and restaurant, while camping and biking nearby and cycling on the Petit train du Nord bike trail. One meal was for lunch and the other for dinner the next day and both times we lucked into the excellent server named Samuel. He was a very congenial fellow, and very helpful with food choices and beer selection. They have approximately 35 beers brewed on premises, and About 16 of are on tap at any one time. I the smoked meat sandwich on one visit and my wife and I both got the burger on the other visit and both were excellent. Overall, this was an excellent restaurant and microbrewery in Mont Laurier. The service was friendly and attentive. They were always willing to check in with us and grab anything we needed. The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable for the amount of food you get! We took leftovers home! ☺️

I recommend the beer flight (great price) because it gives you a fun opportunity to explore the expansive local beer selection!

Our group had: Cauliflower Steak (a great veg option that’s filled with flavour) -Pulled Pork Poutine (the serving was great and the pulled pork was not only cooked very well, but nicely spiced) Chicken Club Wrap ( chicken was tender and the wrap was well filled)
