McDonald's — Restaurant in Mont-Saint-Hilaire

Went there with the wife and my 3 sons of 7, 6 and 2 y/o. The restaurant shares buildings with a gas station witch adds to practicality. It is also located very conveniently right next to the highway exit. Service was courteous and swift. Food quality was at par with what one would come to expect from a restaurant of the franchise. The premises were clean for the most part although the baby seats seem to have been overlooked at that particular time. Restrooms looked spotless except for some lingering odor that would intice anyone to clear the room quickly. Overall good experience, staff welcome you with a smile and for once it didn't look like my Big Mac simply thrown in the box and shot against a wall. So keep up the good...

Ordered a coffee around 3am as we're driving from Ontario to NB. Online says open 24 hours, so I purchased a coffee online as we pulled off the highway and I wanted a quick stop so the kids didn't wake up. We went through the drive thru and sat for about 5 mins with another vehicle, waiting for someone to come through the speaker. I walked up to the window, and the coffee station was such a mess. I asked for my coffee and was told they're closed. I said online said 24 hours and showed my phone with the order, and was told again they're closed (in French obviously, so I couldn't really have much of a conversation). Le week-end dernier, j'ai vécu une expérience absolument dévastatrice chez McDonald's. J'étais au service au volant pour passer ma commande vers 14h, et après avoir attendu presque 4 minutes sans réponse, j'ai décidé d'avancer à la fenêtre. À ma grande surprise, personne ne s'est présenté immédiatement, même si je voyais clairement les employés à l'intérieur.

Une minute plus tard, une serveuse ouvre enfin la fenêtre, mais avec un air méprisant. Je lui ai gentiment expliqué qu'il n'y avait personne pour répondre au micro du service au volant et j'ai demandé si les micros fonctionnaient. Sa réponse fut agressive et désinvolte : "Oui, oui, ça marche". Lorsque j'ai demandé si je pouvais passer ma commande directement à la fenêtre, elle m'a sèchement ordonné de refaire le tour. Malgré le fait qu'il n'y avait personne derrière moi et que le restaurant était calme, elle a refusé de m'aider.

Quand j'ai exprimé mon mécontentement en lui disant que j'étais un client régulier depuis 20 ans et que je n'avais jamais été traité de cette manière, elle a carrément fermé la fenêtre sur mon visage. Ma femme et moi étions choqués par une telle attitude. Lorsque j'ai essayé de passer ma commande, elle a encore fermé la fenêtre sur mon visage en pleine commande.

À ce stade, j'étais vraiment énervé et j'ai demandé à parler au gérant. La gérante est arrivée, mais au lieu de résoudre le problème, elle a été tout aussi décevante. Elle a refusé de me donner le nom de la serveuse et a même insinué que c'était de ma faute. Aucun respect, aucun professionnalisme de la part du personnel.

Je suis extrêmement déçu et je ne commanderai plus jamais chez McDonald's. Jai également informer ma famille et mes amis de cette terrible expérience. C'est vraiment triste de voir un tel manque de respect envers les...
