Benny&Co. — Restaurant in Montreal

The food there is great. This used to be our favorite restaurant to have our food delivered from. Unfortunately, we had to stop ordering from there because they were making too many errors in our orders. We would phone in and they would try to fix their errors (most of the time they would send us the missing items), but twice they failed to do so. The first time this happened, they sent us the wrong size poutine, but when we called in to let them know about it the manager said they had sent us the right size. We let it go and figured we would give them a second chance. After that, they still kept making mistakes from time to time, and it was annoying, but they would fix them as quickly as possible (we would order at least once per week for a family of 5 and pay in advance, so we were ordering a lot). However, on a another occasion they forgot to send one family size poutine (this would happen often). So, we phoned in and they acknowledged their mistake and told us that the delivery person would bring it to us ASAP. He did but he wanted to charge it again as if it was a new order (I had already paid the poutine so I declined). He actually phoned his boss or whoever but they weren't able to resolve the issue at our satisfaction. So we stopped ordering from there.

N’Y ALLEZ PAS! Surtout si vous avez des allergies! Je fais rarement (pour ne pas dire jamais) des avis négatifs, je préfère prôner le positif… mais L’incompétence de la «gérante » Lauriane se mérite non seulement une plainte mais elle a perdu des clients avec son GROS manque de respect total!!

Mise en contexte: j’ai appelé la semaine passée pour une livraison. Je précise qu’il y a une allergie au gluten. La caissière l’a très bien identifié sur la facture. C’est en cuisine le problème! Des incompétents qui ne prennent pas la peine de lire leur commande comme il faut! Résultat: on avait des pains et dequoi qu’on n’avait pas commandé. Je rappelle: elle se sentait super mal pour nous (je la comprends c’était quand même une commande de 72$ qu’on a dû jeter). Elle nous donne un crédit repas de l’équivalent de la commande puisque les 3 n’étaient pas correct! On appelle aujourd’hui pour passer notre commande . Non seulement le crédit repas n’a pas été inscrit, la caissière me passe l’assistante-gérante avant même que je lui demande (ce qui était très correct de sa part). L’assistante gérante c’est une incompétente qui ne devrait jamais gérer un restaurant! Elle m’a dit: « bin là franchement c’est juste un pain, pas comme si t’allais mourir on s’en fou fais juste l’enlever, on ne donnera pas une commande gratuite de ce montant juste pour ça » … pardon?? JUSTE pour ça?? Premièrement on ne parle pas avec un ton arrogant comme ça à des clients, encore moins quand c’est une question d’allergie!! Je ne suis pas princesse, mais je travaille avec le publique, jamais je parlerais à mes clients comme elle m’a parlé.. Non seulement on avait exactement ce à quoi on est allergique dans la commande de la dernière fois, mais ça veut dire qu’ils font aucune attention dans les cuisines!! Je comprends qu’il peut toujours avoir des risques de contamination, mais il y a toujours bien des limites de faire rire de nous! J’avais déjà commandé par le passé et c’était correct, mais ça c’était de trop.. tant que vous ne changerez pas votre « gérante » incompétente du nom de Lauriane (qui travaillait aujourd’hui 26 décembre 2023 à 18h) je ne commanderai plus jamais là! Stopped by Benny & Co with my friend earlier , and while it wasn’t perfect, it was still a pretty solid experience.

First off, shoutout to the cashier—a young girl who was super sweet and polite. She really made an effort to be friendly, even though it was clearly a busy day. Honestly, she’s the kind of person who brightens your mood a bit while you wait.
