Restaurant Boustan — Restaurant in Montreal

I'm so happy Boustan opened up a franchise in Laval. I have long hoped and craved to get a better Middle Eastern/Lebanese fast food option in the area that tastes like restaurant quality food.

The establishment just opened last week and it is HUGE! It's also gorgeous with great seating. They also sell hats and shirts.... any way to sell their brand to their loyal patrons. Their work on social media as well has been on-point as well.

This location also holds a cafe and I believe they may sell Heavenly Taste Cookies... if that's true I may find myself here more often than not! LOL. However, the cafe isn't opened yet but that should be rectified in a few weeks time.

I went with their shwarma chicken plate with side potatoes and coleslaw. Portion is generous and when I asked for more garlic so that I can smell the food on me 2 days later, they provided me with a very generous serving of garlic dip! All for a price tag that was under $11. Very affordable. The food line went very quickly and the staffing was very good at what they do.

Quality of the chicken was sooooo good. The right amount of tender and crispy! The potatoes were done just right and the coleslaw was a nice compliment to the meal. Go figure. The garlic sauce though.... WOW.... what can I say... it was simply SOOOO good.

I might be coming here on a weekly basis, I'm not exaggerating, watch me, Duke Spaceman will hold this place dear. What an awesome...

Ordered through door dash. Delivery was quick but the order was wrong.

The bill had the proper order on it (with special instructions of what we wanted and didn't want in the plate) but what the restaurant made was wrong.

When i called they told us to go there and they would make a new order....the whole point of take out is that you don't want to leave the house.

We went there and asked for a refund...the answer was along the lines of "you didn't buy from us you bought from door dash". I tried to explain that door dash delivered my order to me but what the restaurant put in the order was wrong.

I explained that since you made me leave the hosue to come there I'd like a refund and i'd go eat out...since I'm already out.

He refused and when i saw the conversation was going nowhere i left.

Not the first time they mess up my order but definitely the last time i go there.

AVOID THIS PLACE. Go to Samara or...

Have had way better Boustan, their spicy sauce was amazing and not watered down however it was not put in my creation. The creation here has onions and tomatoes where it does not at the other 4 locations I frequent. There was no sesame sauce put inside my creation because "it would be too soggy". The pure size of the sandwich is anywhere from half to two-thirds the size we usually get at other franchises. The potatoes were delicious although the container was half full, it was also missing garlic sauce and we went back to get the missing sauce. I would not recommend this to anyone in my entourage that has had the same experience I've had in other franchises.
