Smitty's Moose Jaw Petro Canada — Restaurant in Moose Jaw

So, I came in June 23,for a Sunday morning breakfast. I ordered my usuals: a spinach and cheese omelette with a coffee, pancakes and hashbrowns side.

First thing: I don't have my food yet but the guy serving, 10 STARS!!!

he's working the floor buy himself, it's busy (but not slammed) and this guy is on top of everything!! Takes every order from memory, super fast, super polite, and is killin' it!!! Unrelated bonus: that hair of his: ON👏POINT👏, ita like I'm being served by the Guy Lafleur of the restaurant world

The food: it came out surprisingly quick, within 15 minuts. Completely textbook for a smittys. I'd say it's literally what you'd see in the menu picture. Over all the food Tastes great, cooked right. 5 out of 5 on food.

Atmosphere, definitely not terrible but could use a little work.

ALL IN ALL usually any other smittys I've ever been to food wasn't great or I'd say even if it were it's overpriced...

Very disappointed overall. We were in on Saturday evening for a meal. Not overly bad food, very quick and our waitress prompt and efficient . Thought we would try it again while passing through today, New Year’s Day. The service from our waitress was very slow and our food (lasagna) was the special...horrible presentation! You could tell it was not fresh at all and I swear it was microwaved. Our waitress on New Year’s Day should have stayed in bed as she had absolutely no personality or care, not busy at all and we waited some time for our and the table across from us order to be taken while she stood in a daze! ! I also have to say the washroom cleanliness is to be desired and the dust build up on your planters should really be looked at! I own a restaurant myself and this quality of food and service was one of the worst I have encountered in some time! Hats off to the waitress who served us the first night as well as the little oriental girl who seated us this afternoon and brought our drinks. I believe some extra pride should be taken by the kitchen staff as well as...

The Resturant customer service is great! Though they appear a bit understaffed and the table servers are juggling a lot of patrons ... and the do it very well in a courteous and friendly manner. The food is very good and servings are generous. It is also part of a truck stop and a lot of the customers are truck divers or families travelling. So the service is relatively quick and meals are typically fresh and hot!

One serious concern is the state of the washrooms ... which are shared with the gas station. They are in terrible condition, filthy and poorly maintained! If you can possibly wait ... use the restrooms at the next truck stop (next door). Do not let your children use the washroom. (Yes .. it is that bad!) Bottom line ... great Restaurant .. bad washroom facilities. I suspect that is because they are shared with the gas station and no one is taking responsibility for the maintenance, custodial services and routine...
