Delicious! Stayed at the Cabins for two nights and decided to dine in the restaurant on the Friday evening so we could relax after a long drive. We made reservations in advance, just in case. Our meals were devine! Sorry, there are no photos of the mains because we hungrily dove right in. My meal was elk steak, and they happily exchanged the sides to what was offered with the ribeye meal as I thought it would be better for my limited potato dinner. It blended so well with the elk that I was so happy I made the substitution. My friend enjoyed the bison bolognese and reported it was delicious as well. We decided to forego appetizers and had dessert instead. My dessert was the chocolate creme brule and was the perfect ending for my elk steak dinner. My friend had the chocolate tower cake, which was huge and equally delicious. Service was great - friendly and attentive without being bothersome. All in all, and excellent experience! Prices are a bit high and reflective of the quality fare - worth the price...

The resort and atmosphere of the restaurant were great. Our drinks were also good, and the crab and shrimp cakes were delicious. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with one of our courses, the elk steak. The plate was 44 dollars, and was not cooked medium rare. The meat was completely brown and very chewy. When we asked the server about the meal being overcooked, she responded that 'this happens often, it is the lighting in the restaurant'. She did bring us back a second plate which was better, but there was no formal apology from our server. She was very cold to our table for the remainder of the meal, even after we gave her a generous tip. Overall the food was not worth the high price, and the service was below par.

On a side note, the chicken salad and mushroom spinach lasagna was fairly average for the price. The smoked pork chop was great but hardly made up for the...

The only thing that was really "gourmet" were the prices (according to their menu they even charge a split meal fee of $8, should you decide to share your main course with your partner). The food tasted quite average, the pasta with tomato sauce for the kids seemed to contain no salt or other spices and was only edible after adding some salt and pepper. Which had to be brought by the waitress and couldn't reside on the table. The service was professional, but not really friendly and I don't know why it takes so long in many Canadian restaurants to get another beer. No matter if it is from the tab or a can (like in this "gourmet restaurant") and this restaurant was unfortunately no exception. Dessert was ok, but nothing special as well. We had more fun and even ate better in the Brewery in Jasper the day before, while paying...

My son was pleased with his Elk Steak. So were my husband and sister with their Salmon. Our Nay liked her Minestrone soup. My red bean soup was delicious, especially with the multi-colored crunches; however, I wish it’s not as thick. It was filling so I didn’t need my Lobster Cake appetizers. There’s lobster taste in it and the slight crunch was good but its flavor was dominated by other ingredients. Mr. Zach is a likable conversationalist😊. He recommended Pyramid Lake where there is a walking bridge to an island for a better view of the Pyramid mountain! I like the light stained wood ceilings and walls of this restaurant. The chalets look inviting to stay at🤩. The view is as beautiful. They also have Adirondack chairs on the grass along the side facing the river and mountains.

Appetizers were amazing and so were the drinks but it took a long time for us to get our mains courses. And when we did our steaks were flavorless and way over cooked. We asked for medium rare and they were hardly even pink. We could have sent them back to have them fixed but the waitress never returned and then we had to ask another waiter for a dessert menu and our bill. We complained about the $50 dollar meals that we never ate to him and then our waitress came with the desserts and said they were on the house. We left there hungry after paying $217 .
