I would give it 50/5 if it was possible. A nice and quiet on Highway 6. The size of the joint is inversely proportional to it's quality, taste and service. Most places in Lion's Head shut by 8 pm. We called them at 8:01 and just asked if they were open (I was pushing my luck). The owner could have very well said yeah and hung up. But his response was 'Oh yeah, I can make you a pizza.' We were 30 minutes away. His response: 'You are only 30 minutes away, it's fine'. This earns like 45 points. I was so overwhelmed.

Even if the pizza had not tasted great, I would have been so grateful. But no way - The pizza was just toooo good. We had a vegetable one! Simple and just the best!

I wish there was more than 5 star option to rate this pizza place! I already had high expectations before visiting this place based on the reviews but when I finally tried my meat lover pizza with extra olives, mushrooms and feta it totally blew my mind how delicious it was! Very tasteful, generous amount of toppings and different meat, the dough is crusty. Everything exceeded my expectations! Also the staff was friendly and helpful.

The best pizza i have had in such a long time. Would recommend calling in advance so that they can keep the pizza ready. Tried the Brownie and Nanaimo bar as well, and they were too good. It was very nice chatting with the current business owners. It's sad that they have to sell the business but I'm 💯 percent sure wherever they go, they will do amazing. Best wishes, folks!
