My wife and I got take out on July 8. She liked her Messie Bessie Steak Sandwich, which this review is not about. My 2 peice Fish and Chips was extremely less than desirable. The fish looked and tasted exactly like the bland grocery store Compliments-like brand of frozen battered haddock (see pic), and if it was actually an in-house recipe they did a great job replicating that boring style of fish. As a fish and chips lover, and Islander, I was very disappointed in this restaurants lost opportunity to really come up with a more original and tasty local fish option. We ate here on two separate occasions during our stay with Ocen Acres. We had dinner and they got my order wrong, I ordered a crispy ceaser salad wrap and they put it in as grilled. They told me it would be an additional 15 minutes to remake it so I just took the grilled, there also was barely any dressing on it. They did give me a dessert as an apology but it wasnt the best either. Breakfast the next day was delicious though.
