I am writing this review after an unacceptable experience involving multiple failures from this establishment. 1. Critical Menu Ambiguity: I ordered the Spaghetti with Chicken, assuming a standard chicken sauce, as the menu only listed the protein options. I avoid beef for dietary reasons. Upon asking the waiter, it was confirmed that the default sauce is, in fact, beef ragu. This critical ingredient was not disclosed on the menu, which is a major oversight for any restaurant. 2. Unprofessional Service Response: When I declined the dish due to the menu's inaccuracy, the waiter compounded the problem by advising me that I should have been more careful and asked for specific details. Placing the blame on the customer for the restaurant's misleading menu is highly unprofessional and poor customer service. 3. Major Billing and Transparency Failure: The rejected dish was initially charged to the $66 bill. When the spaghetti was removed, the associated GST and QST taxes were not correctly deducted, resulting in an overcharge on the final payment. Compounding this error, the restaurant failed to provide an itemized bill—I only received the final credit card payment receipt. This lack of transparency prevented me from easily verifying the incorrect tax calculation. This experience represents a complete breakdown in operations. Due to the critical lack of transparency regarding main ingredients which affects basic food safety (in this case, an undisclosed animal product), I will be filing a formal complaint with the local food...

Located on hwy 323 South of the end of 315, the beautiful building with a windmill entrance is quite hard to ignore, especially for travelers from Ottawa on the way to Mount Tremblant. The roomy interior as well as the few patio tables and bench tables further out provide ample seating for the establishment. Beautiful decorations adorn the walls and provide a very relaxed and welcoming feel of the restaurant. We have had some of the best poutine in recent memory - great gravy consistency, flavorful yet but salty, and the balance of gravy-cheesy-fries ratio is so balanced that we finished the bowl without any extra of... Anything! I ordered a small smoked meat pizza and boy it was meaty! It is so rich that any meat lover would find the dish a joy. And the crust is of that soft crunchiness I do desire. Overall the only complaint is the limit of my stomach (which is of no fault to the restaurant).

With heart portions of well made dishes, adorable prices, and a relaxing atmosphere at a convenient location, this is a perfect resting stop...

I just had breakfast here for the first time. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday morning. A really good diner style breakfast. Service was friendly without hovering and our coffee cups were never empty. Nice cozy, family style atmosphere.

If I had to complain about something, I would say the menu is a little limited. They need a "Lumberjack Special" or something like that with pancakes/french toast/waffles + eggs + bacon/sausage.

I'm very happy to have this restaurant in the neighborhood. Coming for dinner next time!

Update - The pizza is great too! I called in an order for two pizzas for takeout. They told me it would take 20 minutes and when I arrived 20 minutes later, the pizzas had just come out of the oven red hot. The medium pizzas were around 12-14 inches and were delicious. They have an unusual feature I have never seen before. They put toppings and cheese all the way to the edge and then fold the crust over them. This gives a sort of stuffed crust effect that was really tasty. Pricing was fair....

Great place. A little loud for my liking but I guess that's a testament to how popular it is. Service was available in French and English which is always nice, but the menu is all French with no pictures, But hey if you're in Quebec learn some French words for food 😉 Pizza is good according to my wife and grand daughter though she was a little confuse about having fries on top of her pizza lol. Chicken sub was great, 9inch with a ton of fries.
