Discovery Room — Restaurant in Nanaimo

We had a wonderful dinner at the Discovery Room! Our server, Arwen, was absolutely gracious and patient with us, despite being a picky table. She handled every request with a smile and made us feel well taken care of.

I started with the Parsnip Soup, which was a delightful combination of blue cheese, pumpkinseed, chive pesto, and apple lemon thyme slaw—flavors that blended beautifully. For my main, I had the Pappardelle Pasta with braised lamb ragout, lemon ricotta, and gremolata. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the lamb was so tender and flavorful. To top off the meal, I indulged in a classic Tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to a great evening.
