Grand Falls Big Stop — Restaurant in New Brunswick

Brought my family to this restaurant this morning to have a good breakfast, we sat down we ordered our food the service from the get go was horrible I've ate at this place 2 times and both times very unsatisfied with the service and the food but I went a few days before this experience and tried to use my card and it gave me a card error so I tried the atm and it worked I brought the money to the lady and tipped her thanking her for her patience this morning I went back and the same issue happened but this time I was unable to use my card at the restaurant nor was I able to use the atm as I was getting error messages so I was trying to avoid leaving with out paying so I sent money to my girlfriends account and the restaurant and the store didn't have the tap option and my girlfriend only had the option to pay by phone at this point the lady that served us was basically accusing me and my family of trying to steal from them even tho I showed my balance and that money was in both our accounts she still basically told us it wasn't her problem and when I said I had no other option but to go get money out at the bank she had everyone in the restaurant know the situation as we left completely Embarrassing my girlfriend and I we went out to the car and started looking for my girlfriends bank card and found it and I told my girlfriend to go in and pay but leave no tip for the bad service we got and she was basically trying to fight my girlfriend in the restaurant this company is owned by Irving so i don't expect any less from this company but it will be the last time I stop for fuel or food at any Irving location this place is not worth the money you pay the service sucks and they have very limited...

Stayed the night and it was quiet except for young guys on quads and dirt bikes arrived around 10 and had no regard for anyone! Not the managements fault. Sat in the truckers lounge which was quiet and clean. Bathrooms…as usual, very clean. We had a delicious diner food was good temperature and their new fries are very good. BUT… BREAKFAST on the other hand, not so good!!! Hubby ordered over medium and got sunny side up, (cold eggs) very hot quite greasy home fries ( mine too) I had a western which was good! HOWEVER; my pure orange juice was watered down and my husband was served a coffee in a mug with RED LIPSTICK ON THE RIM!!!! Just not his Colour lol. The waitress brought it into the kitchen and he got a new cup of coffee in what seemed to be a clean cup. This has us guessing about their sanitization system! It’s a quiet big stop, unlike other big stops and we came from Halifax and use these stops faithfully. We’ve decided to try the Shell station up the road next time. These days, sanitation (Covid) is key to travellers I’d think!!! I’d recommend this stop but I’d almost want to bring my own mug and...

They have lots of parking it is in a convenient location and the restaurant inside the big stop is the same as all of them, the food is not too bad that the price is fair in the portions are large. The problem is with this particular big stop alone is the waitress staff, in particular the red-headed waitress that works the commercial driver section. I don't like to speak poorly but this woman refuses to do her job and will leave you sitting there until you leave like I had to do today and once in the past it is unfortunate that her horrible customer service makes it impossible for me to use this restaurant. It is only in this particular location where the staff makes the experience horrible for the customer, I'm sure they treat their other customers well however as a commercial driver I don't need to be treated like a second-class citizen. If you think I'm making this up just go in anytime you want and look at the commercial drivers section with all the drivers sitting there with no menus no food...
