Oak Bay Snack & Dairy Bar — Restaurant in New Brunswick

This is a typical take-out, order at one window pick up at the next. There are a few picnic tables and a small swing set for younger children. The food is amazing. They serve all the typical seafood dishes as well as great hamburgers and other dishes. The portions are what I would call normal. Most places pile on the food and fries and I end up leaving half of it on the plate. I consider that a waste. While the meals were expensive we didnt mind paying the price for the quality of the food. The take-out is a little out of the way but definitely worth the trip. We pass by that area a few times a year and the consensus of the group is always to eat there versus a sit in restaurant. We always look forward to our next meal there and would recommend this take-out...

When on my way home from running errands in st stephen, I decided to simply pick up a quick snack. Bad decision.i pulled in to an empty parking lot but still had to wait at the order window until staff finished gossiping. Ordered just a small fries. 15 minutes later! I was handed a greasy bag of coated potato strips..not even real potatoes..fried beyond recognition.. a shrug of the shoulders was my explanation. Seems pride of product and knowing the term customer service...

The "Tipee" now known as Oak Bay Snack Bar. Stopped in for an ice cream. Got a sundae waffle cone which was as good as it sounds. And my mom had a swirl. Which she said was super creamy. Lady that waited on us was very friendly. My dad always took us all here as a family when we were kids. Drive the whole way to Oak Bay to get a soft serve swirl..lol. Brought back alot of memories. Glad to see the place still in operation. Will return to try...
