My wife took me here as Father's day lunch since I love seafood and she heard about this place a good things. I got one lobster roll and one small seafood platter. It took about an hour and a half to get served but there were a lot of people ahead of us and a lot of people still coming even though it was after lunch rush time! We didn't mind to wait because it means this place serves a good foods!
Lobster roll was great and had a good chunk of meat. The bread was very well toasted! I saw a review that somebody said roll was too expensive for the size of roll. Yes! It is bit pricy but truth is lobster roll is pricy every where! Also, this lobster was very fresh!
Small seafood platter was not small size and clams, shrimps and scallops were very fresh! Like, I was impressed big size of fresh clams and I never had this good fresh clams in Canada before! Breaded fish part was ok! I have had better one in Lunenburg, NS and in Maine. Those were melting in your mouth when I tried but this one was still fresh fish and great taste!
Overall, I was very satisfied by their service and fresh foods!! You don't get that fresh seafood when it comes breaded! I will definitely come back since I live in Saint John and I will spread the words for this place!
Only the thing is if they can tell us how much time it will take to be served when I ordered if they got so much ordered ahead, it...
Read moreWe traveled to this area for vacation and stopped here as it was near our property rental. Despite having mostly fried items, this place was good! They know how to fry very well! The poutine with extra cheese was perfect the first night we dined there, but wasn't the same experience the second night. My daughter loved the hot dog -- she said it reminded her of Fuddruckers -- which is her favorite place here in our hometown to get a dog if we're out and about. :)
One thing I would like to note -- the seafood platter comes in two sizes: small and large. The small can feed two hungry people just fine. I didn't see the large, but I suspect that would feed a family of 4 lol. The portion on that was so very big and unexpected! They do also make their own tarter sauce but if you don't want that they have another variety. I suggest trying theirs, it's very good.
They do take-out primary but if you're wanting to eat there and the weather is great you can enjoy your meal at a (covered) picnic table on their property.
Customer service here was also very good. The ladies that we interacted with were very patient with us, and were delightful.
Parking is plentiful. The lot is an open gravel lot which would be fine for campers and other reasonably...

Pros: -Not greasy at all. -good coleslaw -decent house-made tartar sauce -Great spot. Lots of picnic tables under individual shelters with a nice distance between them. Park-like setting. -Separate building containing bathrooms. Thumbs up for cleanliness. -Friendly service.
Cons: -A little on the bland side. -NOT fresh cut fries. Fries had zero flavour.
One of us got fish n' chips. Two large pieces of fish and a lot of fries. Fries had no taste, were frozen fries. Fish was okay, but not a whole lot going on. Only a light batter and not a lot of flavour.
The other got shrimp and chips and an order of the battered mushrooms. They enjoyed the lack of greasiness, said the battered shrimp was pretty good. Liked the battered mushrooms.
-Pricing: $61 for an order of fish n' chips, an order of shrimp and chips, some battered mushrooms and two cans of pop.
Parking: Park-like setting. Lots of room. Great picnic tables under shelters that you can drive up to. Food: 3/5 | Service: 5/5 | ...
