This spot is a true delight and hidden gem! We eagerly returned to it this summer during our visit. It’s definitely on par with any fine dining we’ve enjoyed in major metropolitan cities, but the charm of this quaint setting is what sets it apart from the rest. Love the vibe they’ve established here. The family owned and operated feeling comes in loud and clear, not to mention the pride that all the servers and cooks take in their work. This visit, Alexa and Alexandra gave exquisite service and recommendations. Dom’s Expresso Martini is seriously one of the best I’ve had anywhere. But they also shake things up with a monthly cocktail challenge between the bartenders and it resulted in some strawberry-basil mojito that wasn’t sweet, but light and refreshing. We went all in and enjoyed the scallops, muscles, salmon fritters, chicken, halibut and lobster covering our table. Every dish was cleaned off using their delicious breads w/ homemade butters too. A true delight! And then deep fried peanut butter ice cream which had everyone speechless during dessert. Not to mention the apple cobbler that we just had to have as well!!! Eating is meant to be a joyful act. And here, the joy flows as beautifully as the river does next to your table. Treat yourself to this special place. It’s worth it.

The atmosphere can only be described as “enchanting”. It’s a beautiful, rustic, secluded lodge with a covered back porch, with a view of the majestic Restigouche River. It smells fresh and clean, and the serenity of the area means you hear the leaves rustling in the trees around you as well as sounds from the river. The food experience is delightful - many types of seafood are available. We tried mussels, scallops, crab cakes, salmon, steak
all were delicious. Portions were generous. I wish I had taken more photos! The owners were our hosts and were absolutely lovely. We can’t wait to return next summer!

Delicious food and very big portions. Good service, i was able to have aperol spritz that wasn't on the menu, and the cook came to great the tables at the end. No rush, you can relax and enjoy the ambiance with your wine. I will come eat hear again!

First time coming out to here on a friend’s recommendation. It was a little peace of culinary Heaven. We visit often from California and generally struggle to find a fine dining experience when wanting to celebrate special occasions.

The location was so peaceful and beautiful. Literally nestled along the riverbank. The staff was kind, competent and attentive. The menu is small and focused on what is in season. You definitely get that “from farm to table” feel. Our party of 6 enjoyed each of 3 courses with no complaints from anyone.

Dinner Highlights - watch out for the Dominque Expresso Martini 🍾. It may be one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The scallop & mussel appetizers were so tasty, but the risotto dish stole the show! Main courses brought out lamb, halibut, steak pie & trout. Every plate was pretty much licked clean! Then we brought out 3 lemon meringue pies with homemade blueberry ice cream to seal the deal.

The main dining hall is warm and inviting, but if New Brunswick’s weather is cooperating, you definitely want to put in a request for one of their patio tables. Then sit back and just take...

From the moment we drove under the River Run archway,I knew this place was something special, starting with the landscaping and the beauty of its secluded location on the river. Then came the food, the crab cakes were a standout, the scallops with their maple crust were unreal, the cod with miso was straight-up magic, and the steak was cooked to perfection. We’d heard rumors about the owner’s famous “balls” - sadly we were too late to try them, but they shared a small bowl of their generational family maple sugar filling, and I can only imagine how incredible it would be inside a homemade pastry. The bar tenders were sweet enough to look up any drink we requested and try their hand at making anything new! The presentation, flavors, and service were all spot on, and with the owners themselves greeting and serving, it’s clear this place is a true labor of love. Honestly, if I don’t find myself back in the area next summer, it might just be worth a planned eight-hour drive from Montreal. Thank you for a magical evening and...
