Absolute best lobster roll! The claim is that they have the best lobster roll in New Brunswick. I totally disagree as someone who has eaten lobster rolls in Maine, Nova Scotia, PEI and New Brunswick. Theirs for me is the BEST in the WORLD! I tasted my first Spinney’s lobster roll on a recent solo trip to Saint Martins and then a week later, invited my siblings to make the trek. All were in agreement! Absolute BEST! The amount of lobster meat goes beyond what any of us ever experienced. Perfect saltiness and sweetness. The bread, also longer than your typical hot dog bun, toasted just right, melting in your mouth. Add to this, the fabulous service, no matter how busy they are, and there is no doubt that Spinney’s, is as much a “must stop place” as the spectacular Saint Martin’s Fundy Trail nearby. Both are hidden gems worthy of being discovered and experienced I New Brunswick Canada.

I was debating giving 4 stars or 5, but I settled on 5. This was a best lobster roll I've had this summer of the four NB locations I've visited. Lots of lobster with no fillers to get in the way. The bun was perfect, lightly toasted. However, the fries were meh. If they were fresh-cut, double-fried potatoes, this platter would have been perfect. But, the lobster roll made me overlook the adequate fries. Oh... The service was relatively quick considering the number of customers there at the time.

I was really looking forward to trying the lobster roll since I heard so many good things about it, especially about how generous the portions are. Unfortunately, I was disappointed — there wasn’t much meat, probably less than what you’d get from a small lobster. It looks like a lot from the picture but there is almost nothing in the bun. It was overcooked and chewy. Lobster burger was good. The service was nice, but overall it didn’t live up to the expectations I had.

My wife and I made a trip on a Friday for fish and chips and a lobster roll, since that are supposed to be the best in New Brunswick. Big claim. There are some awesome lobster rolls across New Brunswick. The fish and chips were amazing, lots of fish and a little pricey (tourist prices), but still a great lunch. My wife, who is the lobster roll fan, just thought it was pretty average that she would get anywhere in New Brunswick, still good, but she thought is was comparable to others at a much lower price, most places away from the main tourist areas in the province. Overall, great place to stop but be prepared to pay just a bit more during the busy...

We had the very last lobster roll for the 2024 season.

When we arrived, there was a sign that said the place was closed. The operator/owner saw us as she was leaving to go across the street. She came back and asked what we were looking for. my wife wanted the lobster roll. As a result, the owner made the last lobster roll of the season and served it to my wife.

This happens to us a lot and this photo is a half eaten Lobster roll. The reason for that is we forget to take photos sometimes.

We returned today and had lots of time to enjoy lobster rolls and fish and chips. As usual the lobster rolls were big and chunky pieces of lobster. And the salmon...
