It was... Fine. Took a while to be acknowledged when we walked in, several food items like pizza weren't available. We had some basics like quesadillas and they were ok. Washroom was not what I want when I'm in a food place. Gift shop was almost empty and what was there was unspectacular. I felt a bit sadder leaving than when I arrived. I didn't feel at physical risk. They had colouring books and crayons for kids. Service was polite.

Family business, it seemed like a handful to manage the kids working and the workload coming from the customers. We seemed to have a bit of trouble to find a good seafood restaurant that accepted credit cards on this island, so we were glad to find this one. I think our order was slightly forgotten for a little, but the fish & chips hit the spot! The gift shop felt a little bit empty though

Breakfast was good and a full portion, place could use a little TLC. One of the only places cooking food in the off season means you’ll probably be eating here if your on vacation

Restoraunt is run by kids with little to no organization. We were told to pay after we are cause it would be "easier". But when we finished and went to pay, they had a line up to order and we basically were forced to cut everyone off to pay. The food itself wasn't all that great either. I had the scallop and chips, they were alright but nothing to right home about. my girlfriend had an oven sub, where the menu just said 'regular'. Thinking it was a pizza oven sub but it ended up just being a warm ham and cheese sandwich with half a leaf of lettuce a a single strip of bacon. Her brother had nachos which was just store bought tostitos and store bought shredded cheese half melted with what appeared to be shredded store bought chicken strips.

The fish and chips did seem alright as well.

And don't get me started on the decoration of white pegboard walls and an empty gift shop.

For being one of literally only 3 restoraunts on this island, I was expecting it to be atleast half decent. Instead I would never recommend the place . (Bring most of your own food or plan on cooking yourself...

Sweet young girls were serving here today. I mentioned how my mother used to bring me there in 70’s and how it had the same ice box, stools and glassware as was on the shelf. (Except much less of them.). It was such a great memory. I asked if I could have a float in one those same glasses. The young girl was offering to accommodate me but was quickly shut down by the owner who told me in a persnickety voice, “you can’t because it won’t hold enough ice cream and we need to put it in the paper cups and fill them with 3/4 ice cream and 1/4 pop from fridge which I you need to get yourself. My spoon was too short for the float and I wasn’t given a straw. I was quite appalled at this owners attitude.”. The young girl was embarrassed (which wasn’t her fault) but I tipped her cash and thanked her for trying anyway. . How businesses like this stay in business is beyond me. Apparently this owner has no...

I don't often to take time to review, but it needs to be done.Been in twice, had the "donair sub" well, what a disappointment. One lousy slice of donair meat and a slice of old tomato... only on half. Not sure donair meat is scarce or expensive. Had a salad the next visit. After a non pleasurable inter action with the child working I was served a soggy old salad with no chips. When I asked about them, I felt like I was putting them out. The young guy up front quickly passed the buck to the kitchen "staff" who where a joke. I heard them going back and forth about who prepped the salad and not knowing what was supposed to be on it. Come on, Children back there preparing meals. Sad state. That'll be it for me. I haven't been able to leave the house since supper if you are picking up what I'm putting down!!! Health code...hmmm? If you are coming to GM, pack...
