I don’t even know where to begin, because words barely do justice to the experience I had with this lobster dinner. From the moment I sat down, the service was flawless—like the staff had been personally trained by angels. Every detail was anticipated before I even thought of it. Water glass? Always filled. Butter dish? Never empty. Napkin folded with precision that would make origami masters weep.

And the lobster… oh, the lobster. This wasn’t just food—it was a religious experience. Perfectly cooked, tender, and so sweet it felt like it had been plucked straight from Poseidon’s private stock. Cracking into the shell was like unwrapping a present from the ocean itself. Paired with the golden, silky butter that somehow tasted like it had been churned by the gods, every bite was pure euphoria.

The sides weren’t just sides—they were supporting actors in an Oscar-worthy performance. The vegetables were roasted to absolute perfection, and the potatoes were so fluffy I’m convinced they had a direct line to heaven. Each bite sang in harmony with the lobster, creating a symphony of flavor that I’ll be dreaming about for years.

By the end, I wasn’t just full—I was emotionally overwhelmed. This wasn’t a dinner; it was a life event. I walked in hungry and walked out a changed person, wondering how I’ll ever look at another meal the same way again. If you’re searching for the pinnacle of dining, stop looking. This lobster dinner isn’t five stars—it’s the...

Went super early because we were warned that lines get very long and if you go late you won't get in. We also heard they are much better than the fisherman's wharf lobster dinner restaurant so we didn't go there and can't compare. We did have lobster dinner elsewhere but those don't come with repeat courses of chowder, mussels, and dessert. They are only open from 4pm to 8pm. We went at 315pm and were second in line. They only take reservations for groups of 10 or more so when 4pm came there were about 150 people in the no reservation line. There was also a bus load of senior citizens that had a large group reservation. However the restaurant is huge and everyone got in with still some tables to spare. Lesson learned was that we likely could have shown up around 430pm and still got a table with no line. When we left around 530pm there were about 15 people in line. The food is good but in my opinion not worth a long drive unless you want to eat tons of food. We did eat too much because we could but I wouldn't be in a rush to return. I'd prefer less food of higher quality. I found the 1.5lb lobster to be a great size and tasty. The chowder and mussels and fruit pie for dessert were not great or flavourful. The pie was also dry. I did try someone else's strawberry shortcake and it was much better than the pie. Beer was priced around $5.50 for a 12oz. Service was very good. Our waitress was attentive and stayed on top...

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A PEI Experience We’ll Never Forget – New Glasgow Lobster Suppers Is Perfection!”

While visiting Prince Edward Island all the way from Bradford, Ontario, my family and I were looking for a memorable place to enjoy a true PEI seafood feast. One of our friends suggested we try New Glasgow Lobster Suppers, and let me tell you—this recommendation turned out to be an absolute gem.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that made us feel like family. The restaurant had such a cozy, inviting atmosphere, and you could tell right away that this place has been a beloved tradition for years.

Now, let’s talk about the food. 🦞 Oh. My. Goodness. The lobster was cooked to absolute perfection—sweet, tender, and juicy. Every bite felt like it melted in our mouths. And the portions? Generous! The chowder was rich and flavorful, the rolls were freshly baked and soft, and even the desserts left us speechless. It wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience.

The staff were attentive and kind, checking in often to make sure everything was perfect (and it truly was). You can tell they take great pride in what they do, and it shows in both the service and the quality of the food.

This wasn’t just dinner—it became one of the highlights of our PEI trip. My family is still talking about it, and we’re already saying, “We’re not leaving PEI next time without stopping at New...

My first time at New Glasgow Lobster Suppers, we went as a group of 10, this place is AMAZING! The meal starts off strong with your choice of seafood chowder (basically a clam chowder but with lobster and more seafood) or tomato basil soup and dinner rolls (served warm and delicious) I went for the clam chowder and wow… honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had, truly hearty and delicious. After that comes the three-salad plate consisting of coleslaw, a garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and a potato salad. Everything was so good. Then the main course, our table went mostly for lobster, plus a couple of Surf and Turf plates with scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted incredibly fresh. Honestly, by the time you finish the third course you’re already stuffed, but when dessert rolls around, there’s no way you can say no! Dessert and drinks are included too, which is awesome. They had a bunch of dessert options, and while I was sad there was no coconut cream pie that night, the warm blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream made up for it. Our waitress Lindsay was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Honestly, she made the whole experience even better.
