Mabel Hill Farm Kitchen & Marketplace — Restaurant in Nipawin No. 487

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Mabel Hill at the end of June. We cannot thank Michael and his team enough for everything they did to make our day so special. Michael had great food suggestions for the size of our wedding and was very accommodating for guests with dietary restrictions. Mabel Hill had lawn games and appetizers ready for when guests arrived, which were a huge hit and enjoyed by everyone! All of the food served and drinks made throughout the evening was outstanding. The main course was exceptional and is easily the best wedding meal we have ever had. The day was especially memorable, as it rained 3 inches in less than one hour just before supper was about to be served. All of the Mabel Hill staff worked so hard to bring the meal into the pavilion so guests wouldn't get wet. I have never seen a group of people work so hard and seamlessly at a wedding to deal with the unexpected weather. Mabel Hill is a truly beautiful venue with incredible staff and we cannot recommend...

When my Husband suggested we come up to Mabel Hill for our 20th Anniversary, I felt both excitement and trepidation. I love to cook, and I love good food, but over the years we've been to so many restaurants that had great reviews, only to walk away disappointed by food that I could have made at home without the added expense. I even tried to talk him out of going the night before...I'm so glad he held to his wish to take me "somewhere special".

Over nearly three hours we enjoyed course after course (after course...) of the most delectable food I have ever tasted in my life. (The Confit Duck was life-changing...but there wasn't a plate that wasn't a wonderfully balanced, perfectly seasoned journey of flavour...and the desserts were absolutely decadent.)

The entire evening was a beautiful, relaxed, and memorable experience, and we will certainly be back. (We were so immersed in the moment that we even forgot to take pictures of the sumptuous plates....

A group of 10 of us travelled from Regina to Nipawin for a weekend getaway & were absolutely delighted with our dining experience at this beautiful restaurant. First, Michael & one of his staff picked us up from our hotel and delivered us back afterwards - allowed us to enjoy some of his custom cocktails & lovely wine. Due to COVID restrictions, we divided into 2 groups of 5. Both groups ordered the "Family Style Meal" which I would highly recommend. We had the small meal, which was plenty of food & variety. The waitress asked us what we liked/didn't like or if there were any allergies. Then Michael put together a beautiful meal that allowed us to sample 3 appetizers, we had Pork Belly Ragout followed by a truly spectaculor Prime Rib meal! We then sampled 3 desserts. WHAT a dining experience & I would highly recommend for anyone travelling...
